Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who somehow does 90% of the work while still insisting we’re a “team” 😂❤️

To my wife — thank you for being the heartbeat of this family.
The one who keeps us afloat when life gets chaotic, keeps us grounded when things get heavy, and somehow still finds the patience to love all of us through it.

Your compassion is endless.
Your patience deserves awards.
Your support has carried me through every high, every low, every doubt, and every dream in this game we love. You’ve made my success feel possible because you’ve sacrificed so much of yourself to help build this life with me.

You put our kids first every single day — making them your whole world — while somehow still making me feel loved, supported, and believed in. That balance isn’t normal. It’s extraordinary.

Thank you for the sacrifices nobody sees:
your body, your sleep, your peace of mind, your sanity sometimes.

I’ve had two fantastic years in Fukui. I’m so proud of what WE have achieved. So many ups and downs, but they have created great memories. The injury was very frustrating timing; watching my team fight till the very end made me proud, but I wanted to be out there to help them strive for B1. I’m already recovering well and ahead of schedule for my return. I want to thank the players and staff for the hard work day in and day out to be the best we could be. And I’d like to thank the fans and city of Fukui for making this city a home for my family. Going to the playoff viewing event let me see the passion of the fans for one last time, and it was so powerful. I will not forget the love you showed me.
