Last week’s top 10 new #vinyl & #cd at the shops & online at strictlydiscs.com.
or
A physics theory says past, present, and future coexist—and that’s the best lens for An Eraser and a Maze, which feels like every era of Modest Mouse happening at once. Guided by Isaac Brock’s instinct-first process, the album is both familiar and alien, warm and cold. It stretches across the band’s sonic history, from propulsive classics to stripped, raw moments, while carrying an undercurrent of mortality and loss that refuses easy optimism.

1 - Modest Mouse - An Eraser and a Maze
2 - The Beatles - Rubber Soul - 2LP, 180 gr half speed master
3 - Angels & Airwaves - The Dream Walker - indie excl. limited edition spring green
4 - Olivia Rodrigo - you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love - restock
5 - Vince Guaraldi Trio - A Charlie Brown Christmas - clear with white smoke
6 - Alex Warren - You’ll Be Alright Kid - cd
7 - ABBA - Gold: Greatest Hits - restock
8 - Carly Rae Jepsen - Day and Night - alt cover, forest green
9 - Phoebe Bridgers - Strangers in the Alps - restock
10 - Protomartyr - Hotel Usona - gold

Available for in-store pickup or global shipping. Strictly Record Club members get 10% off all new & used product.

Mule, Orville Peck’s fourth studio album, arrives as his most intimate and ambitious work to date.

Available on tan or black vinyl and CD in the shop or at strictlydiscs.com.

Following last year’s Appaloosa EP, the record unfolds as a chronological account of the year that reshaped his life, tracing the collapse of addiction, the difficult pursuit of sobriety, and the slow, often uncertain process of rebuilding. Told with unflinching honesty, humor, and compassion, Mule finds Peck confronting love, loss, and identity through songs that move fluidly between classic country storytelling, bluegrass, and expansive Americana. by @strictlydiscs
