HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY TO “DECIAL LIKE SPECIAL”Two years later, and I’m still recovering from this one! I poured everything into this album—heart, soul, and countless hours—and I’m beyond proud of what we created. It wasn’t just me; this was a team effort. So many people saw the vision and helped bring it to life, and for that, I’m forever grateful.What’s wild is that just as I was rolling this out, Kendrick Lamar dropped Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers—a project with therapy sessions, deep storytelling, and a million-dollar budget behind it. Meanwhile, I was out here on the same frequency, crafting something just as real, just as raw, just without the industry machine.Budgets don’t make great music—honesty, passion, and connection do. I’M💀!! I can not believe @deanblankfield got @redmangilla to hear a song written and produced by us!! Big 30! It’s crazy just a few years ago I was outside of Metros Freo when Method man and Redman were performing handing out cds because I was black balled from supporting them. When a child’s natural curiosity or confidence is met with a parent’s fear of unsafe heights, it inadvertently teaches them to distrust their own instincts.
