We closed out our 2026 Summer with our 4th Annual SZS Scholarship Golf Tournament on August 22nd! ⛳️

All proceeds of this event go back to the kids and families in our softball community who are in need of training assistance! Scholarship applications for Winter/Spring 2026-27 are live on our website home page under the Scholarship tab.

We can’t thank our participants, sponsors, and those who donated to this event enough! We truly appreciate all of the support!

10U Lillian Secord from Shakopee reached 300 strikeouts in her season yesterday! That’s actually insane! 🔥🥎

Lillian spends a lot of time at Strike Zone Sports. From private pitching/hitting lessons, strength/conditioning performance classes, summer development classes, and camps, this girl puts in the work and it absolutely shows on the field!

We are so proud of you, Lillian! For all of your softball accomplishments this summer, as well as the hardworking leader you have become. Keep it rolling girlfriend, and finish the season strong! 💪🏼 by @strikezonesports

“I got to watch this girl pitch in her final high school game yesterday! Avery Muellner played in 18 State Tournament games (record) during her high school career at Forest Lake. Over her six year varsity career, Forest Lake took 1st once, 2nd three times, 3rd once and 4th once. What a legacy!

I’ve had the honor and privilege of knowing Avery since she was 9 years old. She entered Strike Zone Sports for her first lesson as a quiet but very determined pitcher. She was a very hard worker and extremely coachable. I knew back then that Avery was destined for wonderful things in her pitching journey. Fast forward to almost 10 years later, Avery will leave Strike Zone Sports as a confident leader and one of our most decorated career pitchers.

When I think of Avery as a player, she is hard working and always does her job. She’s the constant that every team needs. She was always prepared because she put in the work. She was and continues to be the biggest cheerleader for her teammates. She mastered her craft and owned it.

Avery joined our SZS instructor team last year. I have always been so proud of Avery and watching her share her gift with the young and upcoming pitchers has been so special. Another full circle moment!

Congratulations on an incredible high school career, Avery! You are destined for such wonderful things in your next chapter at The University of St. Thomas this fall!”💜
