Who says wedding ceremony music has to be traditional?

Here’s our violin and piano arrangement of the Pokémon Theme Song for the bridal party processional. We slowed it down, turned it into a heartfelt ballad, and gave this iconic tune a whole new feel for an intimate wedding ceremony.

Themed weddings are some of our absolute favourites because they let couples tell their story in a way that feels completely their own. Taking a song that everyone recognizes and transforming it into something emotional for such a meaningful moment is one of the best parts of what we do.

This one will always be one of our favourite ceremony arrangements. Would you recognize the song before the chorus?

Here’s our violin and piano cover of Viva La Vida by @coldplay, performed as the joyful recessional to conclude a beautiful full Catholic wedding Mass at @stchristophersmi. 🎻🎹

For this celebration, we provided music throughout the entire Mass, including the liturgical music with a vocalist, before ending the ceremony with this upbeat recessional.

This day was especially meaningful because we had the honour of returning to the very same church for the same family. The year before, we performed for the groom’s wedding, and this time we were back to celebrate his sister’s wedding.
