This piece was done for Jen//Stripey Seed as a gift from Nick// @caudexappreciator. It was really fun doing pieces for both of them and they were like opposites to each other. Jen’s was very fluid, organic, and moody; while Nick’s was very technical, precise, and structured. The perfect yin and yang pairing for them both that reminds me of my wife.

Balance can be achieved when two opposites work together, each compensating for the other with mutual respect and appreciation_

Two-headed variegated Obregonia denegrii from @terrafloraglobal ✨

Left Haworthia and right Truncata I got from the @occactusandsucculentsociety meeting back in August as freebies 🤙

Both of the @gv_succulents pots were perfect length for my large taproots. Left pot is called ‘Shino’ and the right pot is called ‘Magneto’. by @stripey_seed

Beautiful artwork by @1201_cacti ..I am very fortunate to have such a personalized piece created by him.

He incorporated the vibe of my love for rehabbing “the undead”. I enjoy taking the time to learn about the individual care needs of plants that may have been (intentionally or unintentionally) neglected and are close to death. Not all make it, but thats okay.. I do my best for them. 🖤

My white Ball Python was included.. 🐍💕

He kept me informed of his process the whole time, with multiple creative options and the bouncing off of ideas.

side note: Using the python’s tongue for the “i” is just *chef’s kiss 🤌

He included my favorite t-rex hybrid (ofc from @gtnursery a while back). She recently (just yesterday) produced seeds, so im excited for what’s to come with her. 🖤💕

@1201_cacti also incorporated pieces of my Tribal Seal into his design as well.. which means a lot to me.
- The “seven sisters” stars twinkling along the top (representing our original 7 bands/tribes, as well as representing the pleiades constellation we hold dear)

- The peace pipe with the 4 feathers represent our 4 remaining main tribes: Wichita, Tawakoni, Kichai and Waco.

An amazing one of a kind piece, by an amazing one of a kind artist. Ty @1201_cacti , and ty @caudexappreciator ✨ by @stripey_seed

Some plants arrived today and I ALREADY HAVE SEEDS from my lil’ frailea buenekeri !! (my partner collected them for me). Had the perfect pot from @peetypotsbypablo to fit my $3 poa cluster.
