Urbino, Italy. October 2025. And we are so proud to share that this editorial has been featured on @stylemepretty. 🇮🇹

Nearly two years in the making. This project was without question our biggest accomplishment of 2025. Planning and producing a styled shoot abroad, learning an entirely new wedding landscape and collaborating with the most passionate, talented Italian vendors who reminded us why we fell in love with this work in the first place.

Cypress trees lining gravel roads. Ancient stone chapels at golden hour. A candlelit table set against the hills of Urbino as the last of the sun disappeared. Details that could only exist in Italy.

✨ Where tradition meets pure joy ✨

Arati & Rohan’s Indian wedding ceremony at Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth, Michigan, was sacred, stunning, and so full of love.

The mandap was an absolute dream: lush tropical greenery cascading over intricately-carved wooden pillars, white jasmine garlands dripping from above, gold brass vessels catching the morning light, and delicate pink roses suspended mid-air. The entire space smelled of fresh florals. Every detail, from the golden diyas to the elegant wedding program, told a story of intention and beauty. And did we mention the florals?

It was, however, the in-between moments that made this day truly unforgettable. Arati’s smile during the garland exchange, the quiet tenderness of hands held at the mandap, the way they looked at each other throughout the ceremony, the joy of rice and rose petals flying through the air, and the teary eyes of the parents. When the ceremony concluded and they stepped into the sunlight — arms raised, petals raining down — it felt like a harmonious crescendo that brought the celebration to a perfect bookend 🌸

You know one of the things we absolutely love about our couples? The partnership and the reciprocity. Let me explain. When we first met @its_zainab and @junaid7m , we immediately connected over our love for a timeless aesthetic, love for the untouchable quality that old film photographs have, an appreciation for the quieter moments in life, the nuances of human connection, the intimacy between two people and the subtle ways in which it manifests differently…and so much more. We shared the same language. A common thread amongst all of our couples - we simply just understand each other. And this allows us to step into their inner circle, into their bubble, and allows us to document their love, the way they experience it. Urbino, Italy. One year ago.

A hilltop estate, warm yellow light, fresh lemons on the table, and the kind of countryside that makes you want to slow everything down.

This is what happens when design meets a setting that does half the work for you. Crisp whites, soft greens, airy florals, and a tablescape that felt like it belonged there. Because it did.

There is something about planning in Europe that shifts the way you think about weddings entirely. It stops being about a single evening and starts being about an experience. A long weekend. A celebration your guests will talk about for years.

Hazel & Aman. A Hindu ceremony at the Arlington Estate.

A baraat that had everyone electric with energy. A procession that stopped time. A ceremony rooted in tradition and carried out with such grace and intention.

Nearly two years of planning went into every single moment of this day. The getting ready, the rituals, the details that most guests will never notice but that made everything feel exactly right. That is the work that happens long before anyone walks through those doors.

Your wedding day should be yours completely. Every emotion, every moment, every memory. That is what we spend months making possible. 🤍

And then the next day we did it all over again for 500 of their nearest and dearest at the Fairmont Royal York. Those pictures are coming very soon.

It is a truth not often spoken but quietly understood: certain evenings arrange themselves with uncommon generosity. The gardens at Parkwood were in their fullest summer splendour, the fountain catching gold in the fading hour, the hedgerows holding their shape against the last of the light. Aakash & Anker moved through it all as though the estate had been waiting, quite specifically, for them.

An outdoor, candlelit reception in the Italian countryside is more than just Fellini-esque fantasy. It’s the cool breeze on your skin as you reach for a glass of Sangiovese among friends, carrying conversations into the ruffling olive trees and the sprawling night sky. It’s the attention to detail you’ve spent months pouring your inspiration and creativity into with your designer, wedding planner and the vendors who help bring it all to life. It’s the perfect once-in-a-lifetime getaway where you’ll be surrounded by every single person who’s there because they love you, and you love them. Reminiscing about Amindeep & Elaine — these two are never not having a good time. Amin’s sense of humour and silliness, pairs perfectly with Elaine’s easy and beautiful laugh. We photographed this wedding a while ago, but the moments still ring true and timeless.

A dreamy glowing welcome night for an fusion Indian destination wedding in Urbino, Italy 🍋✨

When we first envisioned this vignette of the shoot, we thought about how a couple might host a welcome night — something relaxed by the poolside to welcome the guests with Aperol spritzes and Italian ices. A setting sun highlighting the beautiful Tuscan hills in the background. This inspired some beautiful portraits of our radiant model, Lisa, who wore a breezy pre-draped saree, equal parts chic and bold.

18 months of planning and it is finally Hazel & Aman’s wedding week.

Venue sourcing, budget mapping, vendor procurement, design direction, timelines, production schedules and everything in between. Full-service planning is not just a package, it is a relationship. And after a year and a half together, this family feels like our own.
