🌟 Meet Dolly McCarthy 🌟 The founder, publisher, editor and heart of **Stroll Park Ridge**, a community magazine loved and cherished by our town! Dolly grew up on Chicago’s northwest side and discovered her passion for storytelling as the editor of her high school newspaper at Mother Guerin High School. After honing her skills as a news writer, reporter, and news anchor at Chicago’s CLTV News, she brought her talent and love for community back home to Park Ridge. 🩡As one of 14 siblings and now a devoted mom to her 5 grown children, Dolly understands the importance of connection and family. Through **Stroll Park Ridge**, she’s built something truly specialβ€”a magazine dedicated to celebrating the good and positivity in Park Ridge. Each issue shines a light on the incredible people and stories that make our town unique, fostering community pride and togetherness. 🩡Loved by locals for its warmth and charm, the magazine reflects Dolly’s heart and dedication to preserving the spirit of Park Ridge. When Dolly isn’t at the Stroll offices in uptown or strolling around town for a story or capturing a memorable community moment, you can find her gardening, baking, cooking for a crowd, enjoying friends & family and maybe a pint of Guinness at Harp & Fiddle, golfing or catching up on some reading for the Stroll book club! πŸ“šβž‘οΈWant to be part of the stories or just say hello?
