WE’RE EXPANDING THE STRONGER COACHING TEAM 💪

📍 Opportunities available in both Glenageary & Greystones

We’re looking for an experienced Strength Coach to join the team.

Someone who holds themselves to high standards and understands that coaching is about much more than demoing a workout.

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of a room, lead with confidence, create an atmosphere, and bring energy and intent to every session.

Someone who understands the programme, knows the why behind it, and can communicate that to members so they understand what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and how it helps them progress.

But above all, we’re looking for a people person.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

🏋️ Education & Development

PT qualified with a solid understanding of strength training.

Committed to ongoing CPD and developing their coaching craft.

Curious, open-minded, and always looking to improve.

📈 High Standards

Holds themselves accountable and takes pride in their work.

Understands the importance of consistency, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Is coachable, open to feedback, and willing to learn.

🤝 People First

A great communicator who can connect with different personalities.

Builds trust and creates an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and part of something.

Genuinely cares about member progress and takes ownership of their experience.

🔥 Leadership & Initiative

Can lead a room, create an atmosphere, and bring positive energy to a session.

Understands the programme and can coach it with purpose, not just run through the exercises.

Has a can-do, solutions-focused mindset.

Is reliable, proactive, and someone the rest of the team can depend on.

We want someone who takes ownership, raises the standard, contributes to the culture, and understands that every session is an opportunity to make a difference.

How to apply - If you're a coach who cares about your craft, cares about people, and wants to be part of a team that values great coaching, we'd love to hear from you.

Email - paul@strongergpt.com with cv , relevant exp and a quick note of why you want to be a coach with stronger by @strongergpt

What happens when you combine good coaching with a great community? 💪

For Annalise, it's meant getting stronger, building confidence and finding a gym where everyone genuinely wants to see each other succeed.

When she first joined STRONGER, she wanted structured training, proper guidance and a way to build strength without worrying about getting injured.

Six months later, her bench press had gone from 65kg to 75kg! 🔥

She's also taken up rugby, putting that strength to good use outside the gym.

But ask Annalise what keeps her coming back, and her answer isn't about the weights.

It's the people. ❤️

A welcoming atmosphere, coaches who care and members who encourage each other to get better.

That's what we love about STRONGER. You can take your training seriously, work towards your own goals and still have a bit of craic along the way.

You can’t control the storms, but you can choose how you navigate them,

Take the wheel. Make it count.

STRONGER 60+ starts this Monday.

If you’ve been thinking about getting stronger, staying active or finally giving strength training a go, this is your chance to get started.

Our new small-group sessions are built specifically for adults aged 60+.

You’ll train alongside other older adults, with a coach there throughout the session to guide, support and motivate you.

You’ll be shown how to perform each exercise properly.

Your technique will be coached.

Exercises can be adjusted to suit your current ability and experience.

And your training will progress gradually as you become stronger and more confident.
The goal is simple:

✅Help you build strength that makes everyday life easier.
✅Walking up the stairs.
✅Carrying the shopping.
✅Getting up from the floor.
✅Going for longer walks.
✅Travelling.
✅Keeping up with the grandkids.

Strength and balance work also form part of Ireland’s physical activity recommendations for older adults. HSE.ie

✅No previous gym experience needed.
✅No pressure to keep up with anyone else.
✅You start at your level. We build from there.

you’ve hit your sessions.
You’ve got your protein in.
You’re following the programme.

Then you tell your coach you slept for 3 hours. 😭

Sleep might not feel as productive as training, but it plays a big part in how well you recover and perform.

Research shows that sleep loss can negatively affect strength, endurance, reaction time, decision-making and how hard exercise feels.

So if your training feels unusually hard, your energy is on the floor and everything feels heavier than normal...

It might not be the programme.

You might just need to go to bed. 😂

Training matters.

Nutrition matters.

But recovery is part of the plan too.

You don’t need perfect sleep every night, but regularly surviving on 3 or 4 hours and expecting your body to perform at its best probably isn’t going to work.

Save this as your reminder that sometimes the most productive thing you can do for your training is sleep.

Meet your coach, Garrett 👋

Garrett will be leading our new **STRONGER 60+ strength training sessions**.

So, what will the sessions actually look like?

You’ll train in a **small group alongside other adults aged 60+**, with Garrett there throughout the session to coach, support and motivate you.

You won’t be expected to know what exercises to do or how much weight to lift.

Garrett will:

- Show you how to perform each movement properly
- Coach and correct your technique
- Help you find the right starting point
- Adjust exercises to suit your current ability and experience
- Gradually progress your training as you become stronger and more confident

There’s **no pressure to keep up with the person beside you**.

You train at your level.

The aim is controlled, progressive strength training that helps you build strength you can actually use in everyday life.

Strength for walking up the stairs.
Strength for carrying the shopping.
Strength for getting up from the floor.
Strength for longer walks and days out.
Strength for keeping up with the grandkids.

And just as importantly, you’ll have other people around you working towards similar goals.

You turn up. Garrett shows you what to do. We support you. You get stronger

No previous strength training experience needed.

DM us “60+” if you’d like to find out more about joining the new sessions.
