We had an amazing day yesterday with the Red Hook community and @redhookbarnacles for their annual poster coloring party. It truly was a great family affair with some beautiful art happening. We can’t wait for the Barnacle Parade on October 29th and hope to see you all there! We also have 6 packs now available of this years Barnacle King Golden Ale, a collaboration with our friends and Red Hook neighbors @kegandlantern_brewing and @sixpoint. In honor of this beer and event we will be making a donation to @redhookmutualaid from the sale of Barnacle King. taken in Red Hook, Brooklyn, New York by @strongropebrewery

Have you tried our West Coast-inspired IPA, Seeds of Love and Outrage?

This classic IPA has notes of pine, resin, citrus and lemon balm, and finishes with firm bitterness. It's delightfully hoppy, crisp, and refreshing for a fall day.

Seeds of Love and Outrage is available on draft and in cans in limited quantities at our Red Hook taproom.

We are excited to be taking part in a special @bierwax event tomorrow 9/23, featuring @troubadourmaltings and @cohesionbeer as well as @strangebirdbeer and us! In honor of this wonderful event we brewed a special beer with Strangebird and Troubadour Malting. In a first for Strong Rope, we featured Colorado’s Troubador Malt (our first beer made with Craft Malt from outside of our New York region). We made an IPA with @hopguild Excelsior Blend and then sent it up to Rochester for Strangebird to blend with one of their Barrel Aged Belgian Golden ales and dry hopped with the same Excelsior Blend of hops. And with this was born a whole new 7.8% abv Blended IPA “Mating Ritual”!! Come on out tomorrow for this wonderful event! taken in BierWax by @strongropebrewery
