Every project tells a different story, and that’s exactly what I love about this profession.

One of the questions I get asked most often is:
“Do you only do SFX makeup?”
The answer is no.
Over the past 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of working on feature films, television, short-form series, commercials, theater productions, reality shows, and, of course, SFX projects.
One thing I’ve learned is that there isn’t one “right” style of makeup.

The right makeup is the one that serves the story.

Sometimes it’s a full prosthetic transformation. Sometimes it’s subtle aging. Sometimes it’s character makeup, hairstyling, or beauty makeup so natural that the audience never even thinks about it, they simply believe the person on screen.

That’s always the goal.

These photos are from my work on BIG LAW, where I had the opportunity to create and supervise a wide range of looks, from beauty makeup and hairstyling to character makeup and old-age transformations.

Every actor required a different approach, and that’s what made this project so rewarding.

I’m especially excited to see BIG LAW receiving well-deserved recognition, and congratulations to Kim Estes @thekimestes on his 2026 Emmy® nomination for Outstanding Performer in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series. Seeing the work of this incredible team recognized is something truly special.

Even the simplest look deserves the same attention to detail.

Today I want to share something very personal with everyone who has been part of this journey from the very beginning. 🇺🇦❤️

Останнім часом я все частіше думаю про майбутнє MakeFX, проєкту, який більше десяти років був великою частиною мого життя.

І справа навіть не в бізнесі.

MakeFX ніколи не був для мене просто магазином.

Це роки роботи, навчання, творчих проєктів, співпраці з Kryolan Ukraine, тисячі клієнтів, сотні реалізованих ідей і величезна професійна спільнота, яка формувалася разом із нами.

Коли я переїхала до США, я щиро вірила, що зможу підтримувати цей проєкт на відстані. Я справді робила для цього все можливе.
Але після майже п’яти років життя й роботи в Америці я зрозуміла: такі проєкти потребують людини, яка живе ними щодня та знаходиться в Україні.

Саме тому сьогодні я хочу відверто сказати: перш ніж думати про завершення цієї історії, я хочу дати їй шанс жити далі.

MakeFX- це значно більше, ніж інтернет-магазин. Це багаторічна клієнтська база, професійна спільнота, обладнання, налагоджені процеси та репутація, яку ми будували майже десять років.

Якщо ви давно мріяли про власний творчий бізнес або відчуваєте, що саме ви могли б продовжити історію MakeFX, будь ласка, напишіть мені в особисті повідомлення.

Я готова поділитися своїм досвідом, передати всі напрацювання та допомогти новому власнику зробити цей перехід максимально комфортним.

Мені дуже хочеться, щоб ця історія не закінчилася, а просто отримала нове життя.
