SPACE 2609 is a vintage-inspired home, intentionally designed, crafted & curated from top to bottom 💿📸🎞️

@spaces.pgh comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests while also offering a blend of style, warmth, and functionality (perfect for group trips, out of towners or a nice staycation) ⭐️

conveniently located as well 🤭✨ just 5 miles (about 15 minutes) from downtown Pittsburgh & close to the T, it’s the PERFECT home base for exploring the city while enjoying a unique, design-forward stay 🤸‍♀️✨

however, my favorite thing about SPACE 2609 is all of the unique, vintage & thrifted pieces that encapsulate that nostalgic feeling you get when staying here 🪩

☆ the art in the front hallway (the red pieces) were thrifted from a little mom & pop antique shop during a road trip that hosts laura & devon took to washington dc last year for NYE

☆ intentionally designed in honor of laura’s childhood love for Winnie the Pooh, this room embodies all things nostalgia & sentimentality

whether thrifted from an antique shop, estate sale, facebook marketplace or store, each carefully, curated piece comes with a story which translates directly into each rooms theme, color & personality 🥹✨

What started as a love for collecting vintage matchbooks has grown into something much bigger—candles poured into nostalgic glassware, framed prints, shadow boxes, and pieces designed to spark a memory or start a conversation ✨

We’re drawn to objects that have lived a life before us. Things that remind you of your grandparents’ house, your favorite neighborhood spot, a family vacation, or a moment you’ve almost forgotten.

Every piece we create is our way of giving those stories a new home. 🕯️🖼️ by @stryk.studios

Posted up today representing @stryk.studios at the @neighborhoodflea ✨

This is one of the newest chapters of mine and honestly one of my favorite projects I’ve ever worked on.

What started years ago as collecting matchbooks turned into artwork, experiences, and house goods. Now we’re adding candles to the mix 🕯️

It’s been fun finding new ways to introduce nostalgia and tell stories through the things we create.

As I’ve gotten older and the agency has grown more demanding, this project has become something really special to me. It brings me back to being a kid at heart 💭

A reminder to stay curious, keep collecting, and keep creating.

Strike Studios has become my little escape from the day-to-day. My creative outlet. My peace. 🖤🎨 by @stryk.studios
