50/50 Street Band will be playing between 1 and 3pm in the festival arena on Saturday and Sunday.
Come see one of the world's most ambitious and inclusive projects as we bring joy and rhythm to the streets, this year featuring young people from Norway and UK alongside bandleaders from all over the world.
This is our version of La Murga from the opening of Mela today, arranged for us by the prodigously talented @ishy_aasgaard

Lovely sunday gig at the Junction, Rainford with the amazing @etta_bruni and what began as the @sheldon.blackman UK band.
Love this venue and people so much: it's 2026, pubs should be welcoming safe spaces for people of all ages, backgrounds and genders and the Junction always feels like that. Guess that's why Sheldon wrote a song about the place!
Big up my fab sis @wambuihardcastle on video duty. by @stu_percussion

Siby by the Mande Brass Band, arranged and led for us by the incomparable @aminamezaachesonicflute
For the last 3 years at @oslomela, we've introduced a new repertoire each time but this tune has stayed with us throughout.
Thanks to the guy we only know as the Dancing Man who always shows up when we play it!
