@morada.official Eco-friendly aprons supporting fair employment in Colombia... say hello to Morada!
It's been a long-standing goal of mine to figure out how to create sustainable employment opportunities in developing communities. While Colombia has come a long way, poor education, low wages, and a struggling economy have kept many living in poverty.
I don't have the answers yet, however, we have seen first-hand the impact that e-commerce can have in developing communities through our work with fenna.co.nz in Uganda.
Morada is a step towards building a stronger model of sourcing premium-quality, eco-friendly products and selling them online with the primary goal of driving those profits back into the developing communities and creating further opportunities for fair employment.
There's lots to come, a boatload to learn, and plenty of mistakes to make along the way, but we thank you very much for making it this far through the spiel and invite you to follow us further as we figure this all out - feel free to hit us with a follow at @morada.official and even tap like on some posts if you're feeling friendly (maybe even hit a share button if you're feeling "eco-friendly")
