Hatua zaidi zichukuliwe. by @stuarthilda
It's happening today in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. COP 12 is a pre COP session for African countries to meet and discuss issues of climate change. In a side event, Climate Change Gender Coalition Tanzania in Collaboration with @womenfund_tz are convening a dialogue on women and carbon adaptation as a solution of climate issues. Women Human Rights Defenders working on environment and climate changes found themselves at risks of Gender based violence. Women full participation in policy and legal reforms should also be considered into power to restore resilience. Women have all the evidence on how climate changes affect their lives. We @cwhrdstz are committed to providing protection support to WHRDs on environmental justices at risks. @gcctctanzania @womenfundtanzania. @genderlink @amplifychange @awdf. by @stuarthilda

Observe the sheer depth of global hypocrisy regarding the subjugation of women. by @stuarthilda
I understand that the majority of Tanzanians need a new constitution that gives the citizens trust in justice systems, accountability, and upholds human rights. Yes we need the new Constitution, BUT we need the process of reviewing the Constitution where every group of people speak one language (that meens they understand each other) especially politicians, the processes that will involve all groups of people with their needs without discrimination or either sex, religious, gender, tribe nor a place where a person is coming or society belonging, the process that will nurture the prosperity of the country for the benefit of all citizens. At this moment, we need first to establish an independent institution with sustainable resources to lead the process with impartiality. We can start the process only if citizens are able to express their opinions freely without fear. Let the government level the playing ground for a smooth process. @wizarasheria. by @stuarthilda
Law, justice, and prosperity are the tools that have been used to groom countries in the developed world. We, Tanzanians, can learn from these countries. At this juncture, the country is passing, and the needs of law and justice are the most important things to prosperity. There is no way we can have peace of mind without having true justice according to the laws. Justice leads accountability vice verses. The rest goes automatically. Let's practice, it is possible. by @stuarthilda
Yesterday, I was honoured to participate in the launch of Youth SRHR Fellowish with a PAI organization based in Washington DC. A new Fellowship program aims to groom young girls on SRHR advocacy strategy at the national level. 17 youth girls from different states of the United of America were mentored in a period of 7 days. During this launching session, the young girls' fellows were able to share their fellowship journeys and advocacy plans. These fellows revealed that teen pregnancies in America are still an issue, SRHR stigma - religious. The program was coordinated with @innocentgrant1 young advocate originally from Tanzania. I am formely working with @youngandalivetz PAI, who is committed to journeying with fellows to achieve their advocacy goals. SRHR is a global issue for women and girls that needs to be tackled. @cwhrdstz by @stuarthilda
