Reactions to “The Kavanaghs: Married With Parents”! Don’t miss us at the 3Olympia Theatre! On sale tomorrow! This is a show with a big heart and lots of laughs, it’s just uplifting, even for us performing! It’s born out of love for family and friendship and we wanted to give people of all ages something special to remember! Seems like it’s working!! As the Dublin Gazette review said today ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Hilarious. It’s a laugh a minute, with real-life issues, top-class acting, brilliant chemistry and a stellar cast. The Kavanaghs: Married with Parents is a warm, witty and chaotic celebration of Irish family life and one I can’t wait to see again!” Starring Phelim Drew, Aisling O Neill, @ryan_andrews93, @willawhitecomedy, @gizalaugh_ and Al Porter Written by me & @karlspaincomedian Directed by @christinescarry by @stuartspotlight

I’m absolutely delighted to be producing this brand new Irish comedy alongside @pateganire Our Civic run is already sold out and we’re going to Galway Comedy Fest and the Town Hall Theatre! New Irish writing that’s fresh, hilarious and incredibly relatable, capturing the reality of ‘Generation Stuck’ with heart and big laughs. @alportercomedy and @karlspaincomedian have written a terrific farce, brought to life by a phenomenal cast under the direction of @christinescarry , with beautiful set design by Alyson Cummins. I really believe this is a very special new Irish play, and I can’t wait for audiences to see it. @karlspaincomedian @willawhitecomedy @gizalaugh_ @phelimdrewmusiccorner @ryan_andrews93 by @stuartspotlight

🎭 Great news! My debut play is going on sale! The Kavanagh’s – Married With Parents A brand new comedy written by myself and Karl Spain. It’s set in Tallaght… so of course the “world premiere” (🤣) had to be at the Civic Theatre! I’ve put the ticket link in my bio and the blurb below if you want more info. Hopefully see you at the theatre in September 🍿✨ A really exciting moment for me — writing a play has always been a dream of mine, and we’re bringing it to life with an all-star cast (to be announced soon!) ⸻ 🎭 A BRAND NEW COMEDY by Al Porter & Karl Spain The Kavanagh’s – Married With Parents Al and Mike got engaged and moved in with Al’s Mam and Dad for six months to get on their feet. That was five years ago. Now the Kavanagh family are preparing to fly to Germany for a wedding. Not Al and Mike’s. Al’s brother’s. With just 48 hours to the flight, schemes form, secrets spill, and the house fills up faster than the suitcases. As one simple weekend spirals into total family chaos, Al and Mike begin to wonder… Will they ever fly the nest? Or are they destined to stay… Married With Parents. Starring Al Porter and an all-star cast to be announced soon. 📅 3–5 September 📍 Civic Theatre, Tallaght Presented by Pat Egan & Stuart O’Connor by @stuartspotlight
