365 days ago I shot a shot with my eyes closed, now I can see it went in the hoop. It all started from a instagram story poll asking if people would show up if figured out how to make a space for people to come and learn how to make and do creative or artistic stuff. Alot of the people who voted saying they would show up never actually showed up… but so many more did show up. Everyone who did show up made it worth it. We met every Monday and what was meant to be a space dedicated to learning has organically morphed into a space to connect and grow for so many, a community. A real community that shows up and supports each other, that for me as been the most fulfilling part seeing people who met at the art club becoming friends outside it, collaborating, having dinner, partying, growing together and so much more.

There so many people to list and thank who have supported and shown up in some way shape or form, wether it’s been in giving us the space to keep this community going, members showing up to help run sessions or set up exhibitions, or being a guest. I’ve got more love for all of you than I can put into instagrams word count. I’m gonna try by best to list as many of you as I can but you all know who you are! Thank you! I love you! 4 years ago, I started a journey to build something impactful. I didn’t have a clue what I was doing, but I knew one thing ~ I wanted to create work I could be proud of.

After years of experimentation, collaboration, and building a portfolio that feels true to me, I’m proud to introduce the next chapter in this journey ~ @studio.858.

Studio858 is an extension of my art and creative practice ~ a place where bold ideas meet simple thinking and creative creative.

Here’s what you should know about us:
- We are not an advertising agency.
- We focus on creating experiences that connect with people on a deeper level.
- We’re driven by curiosity and play.
- We don’t work with everyone, we’ll say no if it doesn’t feel right (Don’t take it personally. Or do. Your call.)
- We don’t just tell stories ~ we build playgrounds for ideas.

This is not the beginning of the story, but it’s a milestone ~ a marker for where we’re heading next.
