Our handwoven chairs find their place within Skyline Reverie, the Sydney residence by Alexandra Kidd Interior Design — a project where structure meets softness, and restrained architecture is enlivened by colour, texture and unexpected character.

Handwoven in Africa from durable nylon cord over hand-beaten, reclaimed rebar steel, the chairs bring an artisanal, graphic quality to the space. Their sculptural simplicity sits beautifully against the richer language of timber, stone and tactile furnishings that defines the interior.

Flintstone, in conversation with the landscape.

With its fluid, almost geological silhouette, the Flintstone Console feels as though it has been drawn from the landscape rather than placed within it. A sculptural study in line, mass and negative space, the piece sits somewhere between furniture and found form.

Some designers make furniture. Others make you rethink what furniture can be. Floris Wubben is firmly in the latter camp.

At Studio ALM, his work has long been an important influence on the way we look at contemporary design — where material becomes process, process becomes form, and function can coexist beautifully with the unexpected.

Working from his studio in the Netherlands, Floris pushes ceramics and other materials beyond convention, often developing his own machinery and techniques to create pieces that feel part sculpture, part experiment, and entirely their own. It is this spirit of curiosity that resonates so deeply with us: the willingness to let materials speak, to embrace unpredictability, and to find beauty somewhere between the hand, the machine and the imagination.

The Studio ALM Pebble Stool finds a natural rhythm within the ancient textures of Australia — a sculptural form shaped by craftsmanship, curiosity and a deep connection to the earth.
Collaged with Down to Earth, the breathtaking Australian landscapes of Richard Woldendorp & Tim Winton, this piece becomes a quiet conversation between object and environment.

A reminder that the most beautiful designs often begin with nature.

Designed and handmade in Australia, Pebble moves fluidly between object and utility—stool, side table, bedside companion—its generous form carrying the quiet poetry of honest materials and considered making.

Furniture with presence, without insisting on it.

The Studio ALM wall light finds its place within Queen’s Charm, a beautifully reimagined Federation home by Revel Design — where timeless elegance meets contemporary living.

Set against warm timber, soft textures and natural light, the sculptural form of the wall light adds an understated moment of beauty to the space.
Proof that sometimes, the smallest details make the biggest impression.

Handwoven in Togo from durable nylon cord and reclaimed, hand-beaten steel, these sculptural little characters bring a graphic rhythm wherever they land — dining room, garden, courtyard, or somewhere delightfully unexpected.

Stack them. Scatter them. Gather your favourite people and let the chairs do the talking. A little utilitarian, a little poetic, and entirely Studio ALM.
