Delighted to share our latest global campaign for Virgin Active, my third job with the brilliant Sam Coleman.

I had the pleasure of editing the campaign, with VFX and online completed by our team at Priest.

The campaign’s music was composed by Markus Wormstorm, so I also got to have a little fangirl moment during the job, having been a fan of his work for a long time.

I felt like playing with AI, so I took a photo of Priest and created this image with Firefly and Photoshop. AI is transforming the creative process, disrupting the old way of working.
Ours is a collaborative partnership allowing us to move faster in development, explore further in pre-production and experiment harder in post.
We’re using it to generate possibilities, challenge assumptions, and push ideas beyond the obvious.
AI can sometimes be less diverse than human ideas, so our human co-piloting is crucial to ensure original, high-quality output.
We shape the final result with craft, taste, and intention.
As @priest_ct evolves, so does the way we make work. The tools are changing. The ambition is growing. by @studio.amzy

Director @jasynhowes brought his harrowing Crime Documentary series, “Boetie Boer - Inside the mind of a Monster,” to Priest studios in 2023 to address the Grade & VFX. As showcased in the reel, this included creating a motion graphics treatment applied to archival newspaper cuttings, police reports and photographs which illustrated Boetie Boer’s appalling killing spree from 1990 to 1997 before he was finally apprehended.

Given the scope and limited timeframe for the project, Lead VFX Artist @hiltonwhen paid careful attention in constructing an immaculate pipeline which made delegation of VFX shots, actioning changes as well as final delivery seamless from beginning to end. Whilst Hilton controlled the online process, @_gabrielhair and I created the treatment and animations for the motion graphic elements. @nic_apostoli set the Grade look and thereafter handed to @skye.st , who completed the rest of the series grade with Jason. The entire process was managed by post producer Michelle Duvenage @mishkaminx

By the time the locked cuts were making their way to Priest, the team were well prepared. Creating a seamless Post work flow was fundamental in ensuring a quick turnaround and final delivery to Showmax as well as a happy and well looked after client. by @studio.amzy
