Come along and make a handcrafted bookmark with me 🪡📖✂️

These bookmarks have become one of my favourite things to make using fabric, stitch and collage. The result is a beautifully bespoke object that brings me joy everytime I open my book.

This workshop is for people who love reading, people who want to slow down and make something with their hands and of course anyone who loves to collage.

Upcoming dates:
Saturday 19th 10.30 - 12.30
Sunday 11th of October 10.30 - 12.30

This workshop is also available for private group bookings so you can come with your fellow book loving friends or your bookclub.

More information and tickets via @celine_waldmann the home of stylish bookworms. 🪱📚

I’m uncharacteristically into grey at the moment, turns out it can be soft and really rather beautiful.

It’s contrasted in this vase by red and almost neon flecks of green, other colours I tend to avoid.

So I suppose this piece is a bit of an ode to looking at things differently. . .

The Constellation Wall Vase in Pistachio 🍈

This vibrant mini vase is my current favourite shade of green. Decorated with collaged paper stars and hand painted dots inspired somehow by Renaissance constellation paintings and frescoes. . . Clearly I’ve been dreaming of Italy.

Available on my website if you too would like a little reminder of gelato and the nights sky on your walls.

So happy to share my first collection of wall vases that can hold fresh flowers. 🥲🚰

1. Ornate Syrian Tile Wall Vase
2. Constellation Wall Vase in Pistachio
3. Kyoto Polka Wall Vase (Sold)
4. Red Sunflower Wall Vase
5. Green Moon Wall Vase (Sold)

Made the same way as the original wall vases but instead have a bespoke wooden box on the back that holds a glass tube or two. The tubes are easily removable for emptying and filling and keeping those blooms fresh.

Designed to hang on the wall because who doesn’t want flowers on their walls?!?

Remaining vases are available on my website! 💘

Some bookmarks and sketchbooks I made recently because my usual work was feeling laborious.

Covered in fabrics I’ve been collecting for years with blanket stitched edges and collaged paper motifs.

A way to reset and remember how to play. Still fulfilling my love of function and decoration, collage across mediums and a mixture of processes but quicker and different to allow a freedom from expectation.

Sketchbooks are for personal use but a collection of bookmarks are available at @celine_waldmann

I had the absolute joy of making some large scale cardboard props for @delistudios drop-in portrait session at @celine_waldmann

What fun it was to work big and to break out of my usual format, something I’ve been trying to do more of!

The vase was inspired by Picasso’s “On the beach, Dianard” which is my current obsession.

Thank you to everyone who came along and had a photo taken and to my collaborators for giving me the excuse. 🏺🌷 by @studio.arby
