Studio Carpo is a creative studio, but what does that really mean? Let’s take you behind the scenes 🤎

This is our interior designer Paraskevi, also called Vivvi. She has a gift for creating harmony in a space and giving it a true vibe. With a love for natural colors and materials, she embodies what we like to call a warm minimalist.

Her creative journey began in her teens and early twenties, when she discovered a passion for crafts and photography. Those experiences shaped her perspective and continue to inspire the way she blends her passions into interior concepts, always with her own unique style.

The artistic knowledge between design and photography gives every project a deeper viewpoint in detail, whether it’s creating a space or curating a photoshoot, making each outcome more than just beautiful but meaningful. taken in Göteborg, Sweden by @studio.carpo

Project T/S

It’s officially fall outside and this bedroom has the perfect mood for that. For this project we did both renovation consultation and an interior concept. The concept was the 60s but with a modern touch 🤎🍂

The ceiling color enhances the vibe and the curtains increases the the tone on tone look.

A little transformation for a pair of chairs that were in need of some love. 🪑

We wanted to do something fun and unexpected, while still creating something that felt right at home in the studio.

The Athenian Chair, now in a Mellow Turquoise touch in a strong playful but earthy upholstery 🤎🩵

The Mediterranean life… for me, it’s about finding your base.

A place within yourself where you can simply exist, as much or as little as you feel like.

Slowing down. Appreciating your health. Trusting that there is meaning, even in the things we don’t yet understand.

Noticing the little things nature quietly shares, the light, the sea, the movement of the trees.

Small reminders to come back to the present.

You don’t have to solve everything at once.

Just one breath.
One moment.
One beautiful detail.

Here. Now.

And this is why the Mediterranean is @studio.carpo biggest inspiration, the mood, the colours, the light, and of course, the vibe.

Inspiration & persuasion

What inspires us? Spaces like these, where marble isn’t something to be afraid of, but a material to truly live with.

We are often encouraged to choose the practical option. The safe choice. Especially when it comes to materials like marble in kitchens, bathrooms, entrances and outdoor spaces, places where we worry about stains, wear and the passing of time.

But shouldn’t our homes be about more than practicality?

Isn’t the kitchen a place for creativity, connection and setting the mood for an evening together?

Shouldn’t your bathroom make you feel a little extraordinary, like a Greek Goddess or God?

And shouldn’t your entrance set the tone from the very first step inside?

Yes, natural materials will age. They will develop marks, patina and signs of everyday life. Just like us.

But perhaps that is exactly where their beauty lies.

I love Thessaloniki for this. Marble is everywhere. Around every corner. And somehow, it feels even more beautiful than the day it was first installed.

Why?

Because with time, it tells a story. It builds character.
