🇫🇷 Chez Attitude Paris, on met en avant des créatrices talentueuses – avec une pointe d'originalité et d'authenticité. ✨

Il y a quelques temps, on a poussé la porte de @studio.madeofmatter à Paris. Derrière, un monde coloré, joyeux, rempli de fantaisie. Julia @juliabancilhon , fondatrice et directrice artistique, nous a ouvert sa palette – des fleurs, des collages, des murs qui racontent des histoires.

Aujourd'hui, en plein été, on a eu envie de rouvrir ces images, parce que c'est le bon moment pour se rappeler qu'on peut habiter ses murs avec de la joie.

Stepping into @studio.madeofmatter in Paris. Behind the door, a colorful, joyful, fantasy-filled world. Julia @juliabancilhon, founder and artistic director, opened her palette to us – flowers, collages, walls that tell stories.

Today, in the middle of summer, we wanted to open those images again - because it's the right moment to remember that we can fill our walls with joy.

One of the things I’ve loved designing most over the past year has been the bed canopy for my daughter’s room. What began as an idea to present my collection at Edit Napoli last October turned into something truly special, and has since become a product that so many people love.

Motherhood is endlessly inspiring. It invites us into the magical world of our little ones and inspires us to fill it with wonder, beauty, and imagination. ☀️

I’ve never aspired to be a fashion designer but I’ve always wanted my outfits to reflect my art. Since my first London exhibitions in 2018, I’ve consistently designed prints inspired by my collage artworks. This wasn’t just about blending in my own wallpaper ( although this is something I absolutely love 😂) it was about forging a visual link between my art and clothing.

Nearly a decade later, I still create my own clothes in my prints for fun and special events but I also collaborate with incredibly talented fashion designers and I’ll delve into that in my next post.

✂️ Custom wallpaper ✂️

Recently, I created for @ando_living , a specialist in luxury aparthotels, a custom-made immersive motif for the elevator cages of one of their new locations in Lisbon.

Why is the elevator an ideal space for a wallpaper that challenges?

Because it is a suspended moment, a moment where nothing is expected... and where, suddenly, the details of the motif catch the eye, surprise and invite you to travel.

For this project, and in order to remain faithful to the cultural roots of Lisbon and Portugal, I was inspired by the great poem Os Lusíadas, dedicated to the journey of Vasco da Gama. I chose to illustrate the five stanzas that make up the poem through a series of collages, then transformed into an immersive motif.

This creative process was a real adventure, and I am happy to present you today the final result as well as a scenario (the construction site is not yet fully completed).

This wallpaper has been specially designed according to hotel standards, combining aesthetics, durability and technical requirements.

A big thank you to @camillewanecq for his trust in this project.

These twin beds just got cooler with our “the walls have eyes” wallpaper. The tartan gold yellow fabric works so well with the blue hues on the wall.

We adore how our Florum Tessera design pairs perfectly with the dark Terracotta paint on the shelves in this kid's room.

The subtle pink notes on the wallpaper and beige contrast beautifully with the shelves.

This design is also available in chartreuse green.

Quand nos designs prennent vie sur vos tables.

En octobre dernier Mathilde Cérès @thildcs , directrice de @maisoncolombine_ , est venue vers moi pour imaginer une nappe sur mesure à l’occasion de l’édition bruxelloise de son dîner d’exception, organisé en collaboration avec @charlotte_bouillot créatrice de @joyful_tables .

Cet événement féerique prenait place chez notre acolyte @versus_bxl, avec qui nous avons créé la collection Flower Power. Quel plus beau décor que cette collection pour sublimer la table de ce dîner enchanté.

Ici c’est notre motif Primavera en beige qui s’anime sur cette nappe, à cette table et cela nous rend infiniment heureuses.
