Welcome! || About Studio Monoluz✨
| Studio Monoluz

How nice that you ended up here. Studio Monoluz was founded when I noticed that my monoprints made people happy. In the beautiful city of Lucerne CH I started my studio and there I created my monoprints from the heart. Now my studio found its place in Weggis, an idyllic little village near the Lake of Lucerne with view on the Pilatus Mountain!
The monoprint technique, the rich colors in combination with shape, composition and nature as inspiration make my heart smile and hopefully yours too!

In the next post you can read more about the technique I use 👉🏼

Monoprints & Moonprints || About the technique ✨
| Studio Monoluz

Monoprinting = a print that, as the name suggests, is made only once. Most printing techniques are intended to print an artwork or piece of text more often.

This means that every monoprint is unique and can differ from each other. This is partly due to the amount of paint, the pressure or friction that takes place between the printing plate and the paper.

I use a gelplate that allows me to create beautiful smooth surfaces. By using 2 layers and 2 colors of acrylic paint, 3 colors are created on paper. And sometimes even 4: it’s magical and a joy to create. I make my templates myself and use them in the layers. It gives me energy and I try to transform my vibe into my prints.

Each print is handmade with lots of love! I’m experimenting with different techniques to combine with the monoprinting: stay tuned…

In the next post you can read more about what inspires me 👉🏼

Inspiration || About my muses✨
| Studio Monoluz

Mount Pilatus... This beautiful mountain watches over Lucerne area and beyond. He is always there and exudes power. Every season looks good on him and every moment of the day gives him a different look. He is always there and when I see him, I feel right at home.

This beautiful natural jewel, together with the moon, forms the basis for my Moonprints. The moon is also a powerful element that is always present and exudes a lot of energy. The lunar cycle has a major influence on everything and that is why I love to combine these 2 elements in 1 composition. It forms a beautiful unity with the rich colors that inspire me.

As I’m embodying the lake life, the lake is becoming a part of me. Sunrises. Sunsets. Full Moon, New Moon and everything in between. Good days, intense days. It all happens at the lake. The water, nature, light, the energy, animals, the mountains, colors: HOME. My new design was born: Moon Lake.

More designs will follow, from the soul.

Let’s glow with the flow, @lin.in.flow || Studio Monoluz✨

Hi you magical souls!🪩✨

I’m still here, surfing 🏄🏻‍♀️ 🌊✨on the waves called ‘life’. Being present with my little family and staying grounded in these special times.🙏🏼🩷💫

I hope you all are flowing too! I’m still creating monoprints and as a matter of fact, this one appeared 2 weeks ago. It was so much fun to create and the end result made my heart smile🩷✨. Fascinating how those layers blend and bring dimension to the print!✨

FRESH✨// New designs! In love with the structures, shapes and colors. Magic.✨

I was inspired by the 9 centers of Human Design. Because our wall at home needed an update, I created new monoprints of our own Inner Authorities. The Sacral center and Solar Plexus. I’ve created the Spleen center too.

When you’re interested in a monoprint of 1 of the 9 centers, connect with me via DM. In flow I’ll create monoprints from the other 6 centers.

Do you want to know more about Human Design or can I help you discovering your Inner Authority, have a look at @__soulin . Human Design is a system to help you connect with your soul/intuition trough your body to experience more flow and alignment in your life.

FUN✨// That magical moment my son Sem (4) created his first monoprint. Studio Monoluz opened her doors for this special guest today. We’re all creators! 🩵🩷🧡🤎

Studio Monoluz is still creating monoprints by the way, but more in flow next to the exciting things that needed my attention the last few months. I received my certificate for Human Design and attending a sound training at the moment to create sound baths🎶. This all in harmony with mommy’ing and enjoying life with the highs and lows. So please send a DM when you’re interested in a monoprint🙏🏻✨.

Stay tuned.🎶🩵🩷🤎🧡🫧

Lots of glitters,
Linda

FLOW✨// Creative sparkles during this winter. Attending a Human Design course to help others flow with their unique design. Human Design is already guiding me for years to my happy life. I created the ‘Authorities’ from my little family, because I felt inspired by the superpowers, colours and shapes of these important centers of the bodychart. A powerful reminder in our home. Soulmade. Magical right?✨
