We are a full service cabinet, casework and furniture fabrication studio. Parent company @quarterlab_design_build. Same team just a different name 😊

There’s always a bit of uncertainty when working with a new carpenter, but @studio.ql blew me away with their professionalism and craftsmanship. My clients wanted to turn an extra front room into a library while also creating a much-needed entry zone. This single piece serves both purposes and was executed beautifully by the crew. More pics to come once the wallpaper is installed!

StudioQL has made our first electric guitar. We are fortunate to have craftsman on our team that has spent a career making them. Scott asked if he could work this into his schedule and we said, Let’s see what ya got! We are just blown away by this beautiful instrument.

Back a few months ago we replaced the drink rails for @bunkhousehotels at @joscoffee location in downtown Austin. The drink rails that we removed, were made of long leaf pine. They were in pretty bad shape, but we were able cull some good pieces to create the body of this guitar. The end grain is still visible on the back of the guitar while the front was veneered with a striking quartersawn oak. If you flip the guitar over you can see the tree rings of the beams we removed 🤯. The neck was was made from some maple we had laying around. It was finished with all new strings and components. It really is a work of art. It is also for sale. Reach out with any questions or pricing. Stay tuned for a demo! We’ve taken this beauty for a spin and she sounds great!! #customguitars #upcycle #socool by @studio.ql

Huge shout out to everyone that helped put this little show together. We are super proud of our new collaboration ‘The Catalina’! Putting together this mixed media floating vanity and sink was a lot of work, designing and redos to get it just right, and I think it turned out beautifully! Functional art.

Thanks to Stan, Marcus, Oliver, Scott, Cody and the whole team @studio.ql for there hard work, open minds and willingness to work with us.

Thanks to my beautiful and hardworking wife @tabloom for hanging in there with me on the long days and nights, for preparing all the insanely delicious food and helping get the website ready for the show.

Super stoked to be invited to launch our work next to the awesome ‘Artist Block’ by @mattcrump x @studio.ql ! This table is crazy cool!

Thanks again to everyone and all pieces are available on our websites.

Introducing Artist's Block, a limited-edition coffee table that's more than just furniture. It's art. ✨ Designed by me for @studio.ql. Two dreamy ombré colorways, and only 24 in existence. Get yours now—link in bio! cru.mp/sql by @studio.ql

Something OMBRÉ this way comes 🫣 My "Artist's Block" coffee table with @studio.ql drops December 6th! by @studio.ql

Miss me?! I’ve been busy collaborating with fabricator @studio.ql on some incredible projects—starting with my tiny-but-mighty Palm Springs kitchen! How dreamy are those ombré doors? But that’s not all…I’m launching something ✨extra special✨ with them on December 6. Tap my story to turn on post notifications for the reveal! by @studio.ql

This bar was part of our Barker Ridge Project. Built from white oak, it has plenty of storage for all of your barware, liquor bottles and there’s even a mini fridge (panel ready) right on the lowers. Get your party started with a custom built in bar. Etch Design, Photography: Ryann Ford by @studio.ql

We are winding down at our Tisdale Project. We still have a pretty good punch list but will be chipping away at it next week 😊 We love having these cabinets sandwiched between Saltillo and agave green clay tile from @clayimports . Oooo and just wait to see the the fabric and cushions being made for the banquette (background). Soon this is all coming together! Designed by @quarterlab_design_build by @studio.ql

Our 72” Barker double sink vanity is shown in vertical grain rift sawn white oak. This vanity comes with all oak interiors, solid oak drawer boxes with dovetailed joinery and Blum soft closure hardware. Cabinet boxes are made of 3/4” oak plywood. The drawer boxes, apron and feet are solid stock white oak fabricated in house. We designed it as a piece of furniture for your bathroom. We think it would look great as a bar, credenza or sideboard. We currently have two in stock. DM to purchase. 😎 by @studio.ql

We still gush over this kitchen at our McCormick Project. A mix of white painted and rifts sawn white oak cabinetry is set against a backdrop of zellige tile and white oak floors. The custom solid shelving and venthood were a nice addition to fab and install. We fabricated and installed this kids activity room. This daybed separates the kids desks (on opposite walls). This daybed features green tambour wrap with custom cushions. The desks are white oak in our driftwood finish.
