An identity for Glasgow-based maker Monica Findlay, drawing inspiration from early 20th-century grotesque typefaces. The primary logotype features modified letterforms, incorporating Monica’s signature notches along the curvature of each spine. This distinctive detail is carried into the accompanying marque, a derivative of the same signature design. The marque’s circular repetition symbolizes interconnectedness and timelessness, striking a balance between organic fluidity and geometric precision, much like Monica’s creations ✨ by @studio.stark

An identity developed for @outsiders.foraging last year; two figures holding foliage lead by creator of OUTSIDERS @boer.saskia.

My brief was to create something that didn’t look too designed, Saskia’s idea to order a stamp and use the result of that physical stamp as our final visuals was a perfect addition to the hand drawn figures.
