The house empties out by morning, kids leave for school and college, dad heads to work, and for years, there was one constant presence making sure my mom wasn't alone. Suma garu became a familiar, comforting companion in our home, filling our living rooms with laughter and keeping my mother company through the quiet hours of the day.

Getting behind the camera for this shoot felt like a deeply personal responsibility. It’s less of a standard portfolio post and more of a heartfelt tribute, a way of saying thank you for looking after my mom and making sure she had a good time.
