A place where things come together. Different practices, different industries held by one shared way of thinking. An ecosystem where ideas are shaped, refined, and brought into the world. We’ve been building a home for it all. Habitat Group. #habitat by @studio.wangun
Casa Violeta — People & Everyday Living At Casa Violeta in Uluwatu, Bali, the relationship between people and architecture is explored through the familiar rituals of everyday life. The living, dining, and outdoor areas accommodate a range of activities, from shared meals and conversations to quieter moments of reading and relaxation. These moments were not incidental to the design. From the earliest conversations, Violeta Blengio expressed a series of personal routines she wished to experience within the home. The ability to dine while remaining connected to someone swimming, to move between social gatherings and individual moments of rest, and to experience different activities within a shared environment became part of the spatial considerations that informed the residence. The proximity of the dining table, lounge, and pool allows these activities to coexist without requiring physical separation. Each setting retains its own purpose while remaining connected to the others, creating opportunities for interaction as well as individual occupation. Captured with Violeta and Ben, the photographs revisit these early design intentions through the experience of inhabiting the completed residence. What began as a series of personal requirements is now expressed through the ordinary moments of daily life, offering a direct relationship between the way the home was imagined and the way it is used. Casa Violeta, Uluwatu, Bali For Casa Violeta, the idea of a holiday home extends beyond a place to stay. Conceived as a personal retreat for its owner, Violeta Blengio, the residence explores how a home away from home can offer a familiar sense of belonging, while opening that experience to others. Set on a compact 100-square-metre site in Uluwatu, Bali, the 55-square-metre residence brings together private spaces and a connected indoor-outdoor living environment. Soft curves and rounded openings introduce a gentle architectural language, while the courtyard forms the heart of everyday life. Here, dining, swimming, conversation, and moments of rest coexist rather than remain separate. The arrangement allows different activities to unfold within a shared setting, creating a sense of togetherness without compromising the opportunity for privacy. A restrained material palette brings together varying textures and finishes within a harmonious range of earthy tones. Lush planting, natural light, and open-air spaces further contribute to an atmosphere of retreat, where architecture and landscape work together to encourage a slower rhythm of living. Designed by Studio Wangun and brought to life through TABO's integrated construction and interior production, Casa Violeta reflects a shared attention to materiality, craftsmanship, and the experience of inhabiting a space. More than a holiday destination, Casa Violeta is an exploration of what it means to feel at home, even when away from it. A good brief does not make every discipline arrive at the same answer. It gives them the same question to respond to. At Rempha, that question started with Southeast Asian food. From identity and space to furniture and build, each discipline brought its own perspective while staying connected to the same idea. On September 9, 2026, @rempha.ditenggara turned two. Two years on, it is rewarding to see that shared idea continue to live, evolve, and become part of everyday life. Thank you to Rempha for the trust, and to everyone involved in bringing it to life. Here’s to the journeys still ahead. One project, many decisions, one shared direction. Rempha by POT Branding House, Studio Wangun, Studio Mahardika, and TABO. #habitat by @studio.wangun
Thinking inside the box. Maybe a bit on the edge. Between boldness and leisure, @thesquareroom__bdg emerges as a dangerously quirky destination in one of Bandung's busiest neighborhoods. Nestled between a hotel and a shopping mall, the space offers a fresh spatial experience within a world of box-like forms. The material palette experiments with textile waste composites, expressive woodgrains, and plush fabrics, contrasted against the solidity of marine plywood, tinted glass, and textured finishes. Every surface and detail contributes to a tactile, layered environment that feels both unexpected and inviting. Designed as a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living, the integrated spatial layout transforms a simple box into a playground for exploration. By pushing the boundaries of the brand's visual language, The Square Room becomes a place that is playful yet grounded, edgy yet comfortable, a space to slow down, gather, and enjoy the pixels of everyday life. More than a retail store, a space to explore, collaborate, and express. Spanning across a preserved heritage building in the heart of Bandung, Exsport Space is shaped by a delicate balance between calm nostalgia and dynamic expression. The classic architectural elements act as a grounding backdrop for organic shapes, curved lines, and quirky stylistic accents. Meanwhile, the spatial layout unfolds with intention, guiding visitors through a dynamic, mixed environment designed specifically for the younger generation. BZBZ Gunawarman redefines elegance through contrast and character. Spanning 250m², the space is shaped by a dialogue between precision and softness, where irregular geometries meet refined materials, and bold expressions are tempered by warmth and calm. Stainless steel and reeded glass introduce a contemporary edge, reflecting light and movement throughout the interior. These cooler, tactile elements are carefully balanced with soft wood finishes, warm ambient lighting, and layered textures that ground the space and create a sense of comfort. The result is an atmosphere that feels both composed and alive, calm enough to linger, yet energetic enough to engage. The spatial layout unfolds with intention. Designed to respond to rhythm and mood, the space transitions seamlessly from day to night, allowing different moments to emerge naturally. Corners invite quiet reflection, while open zones encourage interaction and connection. Every element is placed to shape experience rather than spectacle. More than a bar, BZBZ Gunawarman becomes an escape, a setting where elegance is not defined by formality, but by feeling. A place to slow down, to observe, and to connect within a layered, expressive environment. A growing portfolio shaped by brands, organizations, and partnerships that continue to place their trust in us. Every collaboration becomes another chapter in our journey. Looking back, we’re reminded that growth is never built alone. Every project is shaped by the trust, conversations, and people we meet along the way. While not every step has been perfect, each one has taught us something worth carrying forward. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of it Here’s to the journeys ahead, and to new collaborations still waiting to be built together. #habitat by @studio.wangun
Capdangu is rooted in the honesty of its limasan heritage, shaped carefully for contemporary use. The aged wood frame is preserved as the soul of the space, allowing its proportion, texture, and structure to speak softly rather than be overwritten. textures and hues ground the atmosphere, creating a calm architectural backdrop. Within this restraint, the bar emerges as a quiet contrast - a deliberate gesture that reads from the outside in, without disrupting the harmony of the whole. Rather than altering the original structure, the design adopts a nondestructive approach. The solid timber construction is embraced as an integral guide, influencing an adaptive and dimensionally responsive execution throughout the space. Breathing, grounded, and welcoming, Capdangu allows light, air, and people to move naturally where tradition is not replicated, but reinterpreted with care. One year of flavors, stories, and shared moments, from tables where meals become memories, to the aromas of Southeast Asian spices, to the light that softens every corner. Rempha has always been more than a restaurant. Designed in harmony with the tropical climate and echoing the vernacular character of Southeast Asian architecture, it is a space where openness, texture, and warmth define the experience. Every visit becomes part of a larger narrative of connection, where atmosphere, taste, and memory are inseparable. This first year is only the beginning. May Rempha continue to grow, inspire, and leave its mark, not only on the palate, but also in the heart. collaborated with @studio.mahardika and @studio.wangun for the interior of @thesquareroom__bdg , introducing COPPO BOARD through a blend of denim and oatmilk tones that bring warmth and contrast into the space. Applied across various elements from the bar front, bench seating, to overhead display plinths each surface reflects a thoughtful transformation of textile waste into something functional and visually engaging. More than just an interior material, Coppo becomes part of the experience quietly telling a story of renewal within everyday spaces. #textilewaste #alternativematerials #sustainabledesign #architecture #interiordesign by @studio.wangun
The design process at The Deli Bakes was a deeply collaborative journey—not just about shaping forms, but about composing feelings together with the client. The display and indoor seating areas were arranged to evoke a homey atmosphere—warm, yet quietly active. Unfinished textures, neutral tones, and soft natural light falling across wooden surfaces create a gentle rhythm throughout the space—not passive, but calm and intentional. From the main structure and interior composition to the smallest objects tucked in each corner—everything was shaped through ongoing dialogue. Because for us, good design isn’t about bold statements, but about creating places that feel like home… even on your very first visit.
