The night before a wedding should feel like the place it's being held in. 🌿🦪⁠⁠For Katelyn + Daniel's rehearsal dinner, that meant oyster shells and coastal florals, deep Southern greens and the kind of easy, unhurried celebration that only happens when good people gather somewhere beautiful along the Gulf Coast.⁠⁠There were nods to the water everywhere — to fishing, to the shore, to the life this couple has built in and around this particular stretch of coastline. Do you have insurance for your wedding? 🌧️⁠⁠Here's what that actually looks like in practice.⁠⁠The night before Caroline + David's wedding, it poured — not a passing shower, but the kind of rain that changes plans. We had rain tents up, but it came down so hard that the gutter between the two tents exploded. Inches of water inside the main tent. We drilled holes in the floor to drain it. Servpro was called. Two-plus hours of pushing water out by hand.⁠By 11am, you would never have known.⁠⁠The ceremony was at 5:30. The room was perfect.
