The hand that once held on now holds only herself.

There's a particular kind of freedom that doesn't announce itself with fireworks — it arrives quietly, in the moment you look in the mirror and choose your own reflection first. This is that moment. Not the absence of what came before, but the presence of everything she's found on the other side of it.

The gold hasn't changed. The woman wearing it has.
What began as devotion becomes defense. A hand once held gently now grips a wrist raised too many times before. The same ornaments that marked a beginning now witness what a marriage can turn into when love curdles into control.

Phir Waar — one more strike, one more silence swallowed. This is the part of the story no one photographs, and the part too many women live.

Before the weight of years, before the silence learns to speak — there was this. A gaze half-hidden behind silk and gold, a heart still certain that forever is simple.

Zindagi Ke Rang is a three-part story told through colour, ornament and the eyes of one woman across the seasons of a marriage. Part I is the beginning — the innocence of first love, the promise a bride carries into a life she hasn't yet met.

What comes after is not always kind. Stay with us as the series unfolds.

The Eighties were a glorious time to for pop culture, with some of the best movies, music, tv shows and toys of all time. This ten year span gave us: Empire Strikes Back, E.T., Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’, Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’, breakdancing, mix tapes, the A-Team, Knight Rider,Miami Vice, Atari. We wore spandex, fluorescent brights, RUN DMC inspired gold chains and Adidas whites.

The 80’s was the decade where you would sit with your tape deck listening to the radio, ready to jump on the song you were waiting to record. The iPod hadn’t been invented yet- but we were blown away by the sound coming from our new Walkmans.
