Spending my Monday revising the works of Rembrandt; a comprehensive book on Rembrandt’s seminal works, studies and critical studies of his inner workings. His envy for Titians works, his desire to defeat him but simultaneously trying not to copy him. Where Titian would defer to clinical academic expression Rembrandt would elect a more rebellious gesture of rugged and rough wet on wet painting. by @studio198art

A beautiful book for any coffee table Willem de Kooning A way of living. This book has captured some great pieces and showcases the visual language development of de Kooning.
