2nd thing we did right upon knowing we were gonna get married, was to source for my engagement ring!

We had a very tight timeline for creating our custom piece because we had less than 3 months to the wedding, and even lesser if it was going to be a proposal and not a postposal 💀💀💀

Visited quite a number of places but didn’t manage to find the gem that called out to me, and finally, @oceanbleuco.

That night, I was distracted by the Paraiba blue apatites (which I loved so much it ended up being a part of my bridal necklace, earrings and bracelet - a sandianjin gift from my mum and her best friend!) and Mr @malcolmlwj was the one who saw the stunning aquamarine and asked for me to see it.

Love at first sight - perfect size, shape, and tone of see-through blueness that I have been searching for.

We settled on @oceanbleuco right away, not just because we found the perfect stone, but also because Wendy and Shawn were amazing! The whole shopping experience with them was extremely enjoyable (we have had BAD experiences elsewhere but story to be forgotten HAHAHA), and they even managed to deliver the ring so quickly and secretly to Malcolm who was then able to propose to me sooner than I expected 🤣🤣🤣

Anyway, I highly recommend looking at their store - their jewellery is insanely pretty and you can custom your designs or even look at some of their existing ones for inspiration, which was what I did because I’M NOT AN AESTHETIC PERSON 😭 I loved their designs, however, because there’s a slight tinge of edginess(?) to it, but the most memorable would definitely have been their service.

In my gemstone era now, will be back next time for more jewellery 🤩
