Well howdy! 👋🤠 I haven’t done it in a while, so I figured I’d introduce myself for anyone new ‘round these parts.
Welcome to my little corner of the gram! I’m Katlyn: vintage picker, antique lover, die-hard junker. When people ask me “how long have you been doing this?” the honest answer is all my life. 😂 Early morning flea market adventures, museum trips, antique shops, auctions, and garage sales are all part of my DNA. I’m a very nostalgic person- sometimes to a fault, and I’ve always been fascinated by the idea that something can live a whole life before you ever knew it existed, and am obsessed with learning the history behind… pretty-much everything.
I’m also a wife, a mother to 2 little boys, and a Navy veteran. When I’m not junking you can find me scheming up projects for our 1913 farmhouse, working in the garden, or cooking something delish in the kitchen. I also love to draw, paint, and most recently am learning how to sew! I’ve always been a creative with too many ideas and too little time. Nothing tempts me like a new hobby or creative endeavor 😅.
If you’re new here or even if you’ve been here a while leave me a comment telling me something about you! Thanks for being here 🤎 Let’s be friends 🫶🏻 📸 @kinkade.media by @studio5twelve

The sun shines on a dreamer ☀️☀️☀️ and boy, was it shining yesterday. I’ll never get over this setup!!! Everything was just picture perfect and turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I am forever thankful for the opportunity to do something I love with people who trust and see the vision, and nobody executes a plan like Paige @norootsboots! Thank you to everyone who showed up to chat, hang, and share your stories. I had the best time! And thank you to Paige for sharing @theberch.house with us all. It’s truly the most magical place where the wild rests and dreamers dream. Til’ next time! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 by @studio5twelve

5Twelve finds: 🤠🤠🤠 The most adorable posse of 1930’s Barclay lead toys. The paint on these is still in such great shape and I’m still trying to decide which one is my favorite, but both cowboys in the wooly chaps are definitely contenders! 🤎 by @studio5twelve

Brothers and chickens 🧒🏼🧒🏼🐣 I picked up this photograph at a local antique shop of 2 young boys and their bicycles, and it immediately caught my eye and reminded me of my kids. Then I saw what was at their feet! A good dozen baby chicks 🥹 so of course I had to bring it home with me. We coincidentally had 2 baby chicks hatch yesterday so they had to get in on the photo op too. Some days you find the thing, but sometimes I really think the thing finds you. 🥹🧒🏼🧒🏼🐣🐣 by @studio5twelve
