نرحّب هذا العام بـ ٩ فنانين من عُمان، الجزائر، لبنان، المغرب، مصر، السعودية/اليمن، والأردن للتشارك في الإبداع واستكشاف روابط فنية جديدة.

Mycelium – Weaving Invisible Threads of Artistic Collaboration.

This year, we welcome 9 artists from Oman, Algeria, Lebanon, Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia/Yemen, and Jordan to co-create and explore new artistic connections.

Interlace – Liminal Bodies in Transit explores the intersection of movement, body language, and space within design. Please fill out the registration form below to secure your spot.

Interlace: Liminal Bodies in Transit is an interlacing of scenes developed over many years, each one carrying the traces of the work that came before it. It is also a celebration of the journey this piece has taken: around thirty people have been part of it over the years, and now it is performed by four. On this day, we bring together most of the people who took part in the piece at any stage, so that every body that shaped it, in every version, has a place in its story. Like the work itself, the day is about passage and transformation, and about the body as a living archive of everything it has lived through.

يستكشف عرض "تداخل – أجساد برزخية في حالة عبور" نقطة التلاقي بين الحركة، ولغة الجسد، والفضاء ضمن عالم التصميم.

تداخل: أجساد برزخية في حالة عبور هو تشابك لمشاهد تم تطويرها على مدار سنوات عديدة، حيث تحمل كل منها آثار الأعمال التي سبقتها. كما أنه احتفاء بالرحلة التي قطعتها هذه القطعة الفنية؛ فقد شارك فيها نحو ثلاثين شخصاً عبر السنين، ويؤديها الآن أربعة راقصين. في هذا اليوم، نجمع معظم الأشخاص الذين شاركوا في العرض في أي مرحلة من مراحله، حتى يكون لكل جسد ساهم في تشكيله —في كل إصدار منه— مكانٌ في قصته. وكما هو العرض نفسه، يركز هذا اليوم على العبور التحولي، وعلى الجسد باعتباره أرشيفاً حياً لكل ما عاشه.

Pièce chorégraphique de l’artiste jordanien Hadi Nahleh, Crossing explore la transformation comme une condition instable et incarnée dans un monde incertain en constante évolution.
Inspirée par la géométrie islamique et les formes du rituel, la pièce se construit à travers la répétition, des mouvements déployés dans l’espace et le rythme collectif.
Sur scène, les corps se rencontrent, se dispersent et se réorganisent, dessinant un paysage en mouvement entre fragilité et renouveau.
Crossing invite le public à vivre une expérience sensible où la mémoire, la résilience et la force du collectif se révèlent.

Nahkiw Arbi: Nahkiw Arbi creates a space for dialogue between cultural organisations from across the Arab region.
The lab explores how contemporary art can be discussed, produced and shared through regional collaboration while strengthening long-term partnerships and building an interconnected Arab cultural network.

نحكيو عربي: يشكل “نحكيو عربي” مساحة للحوار بين مؤسسات ومبادرات ثقافية من مختلف أنحاء المنطقة العربية.

⁨ ⁨ تطرح حلقة النقاش «توازن المنظومة: ما بين البنية والحيوية» سؤالا حول كيف يمكن للمنظومات الثقافية أن تحافظ على بنيتها دون أن تفقد قدرتها على الحركة، والتجدد، والاستجابة للتحولات ؟ وكيف تتحول المنظومات من هياكل تنظّم الفعل إلى فضاءات حية تسمح له بالسريان والنمو والعبور؟ وكيف يمكن لما يتكرر من ممارسات وسلوكيات أن يتحول تدريجيا إلى شروط جديدة داخل المنظومة. من أي زاوية ننظر؟ وما الذي يحدث عندما نغيّر زاوية السؤال؟ ربما يكون تغيير السؤال نفسه فعلا من أفعال التخييل، لأنه يسمح لنا برؤية ما لم نكن نراه، واكتشاف أدوار مرئية وأخرى غير مرئية، وإعادة التفكير في التموقع، وفي شروط التنفس والحركة وكسر الاختناق.

يجمع هذا اللقاء «الراقصون المواطنون الجنوب» من تونس، «يرقى» من لبنان، «شبكة فناني المدينة» و «ستوديو 8» من الأردن و«زخم» من تونس، ضمن مهرجان شوف جربة، للتفكير في كيف يمكن للمنظومات أن تنتج قيمة وأثرا، وأن تفتح مساحات للمساهمة في صياغة المستقبل، ليس فقط لنا، بل للأجيال القادمة.⁩⁩ by @studio8jo

Beyond the exhibitions and performances, SEE DJERBA 2026 opens four days of conversations, presentations and collective reflection through its Labs Programme.
Taking place from 10–13 August, the Labs bring together artists, curators, researchers, institutions and cultural practitioners to explore the questions raised by this year’s curatorial theme AKROS (Node).

Across five thematic sessions, participants will discuss artistic practice, public space, environmental questions, cinema, regional collaboration and the future of contemporary art in and beyond Djerba.

Whether you are an artist, student, researcher, cultural professional or simply curious, the Labs are an invitation to learn, exchange and imagine together.

إلى جانب المعارض والعروض الفنية، يقدّم شوف جربة 2026 برنامج المختبرات، أربعة أيام من اللقاءات والنقاشات والعروض المفتوحة التي تجمع الفنانين والقيّمين الفنيين والباحثين والمؤسسات والفاعلين الثقافيين.

من 10 إلى 13 أوت 2026، يدعوكم البرنامج لاستكشاف القضايا التي تطرحها هذه الدورة تحت عنوان «أَكْرُسّ»، من خلال خمس جلسات موضوعية تتناول الممارسة الفنية، والفضاء العام، والبيئة، والسينما، والتعاون الثقافي، ومستقبل الفن المعاصر في جربة والمنطقة.

إذا كنتم فنانين، أو طلبة، أو باحثين، أو مهتمين بالشأن الثقافي، فهذه مساحة مفتوحة للتفكير والحوار وبناء روابط جديدة.

What happens when artists are given time, space, and silence in the vastness of the desert?

In the breathtaking landscape of Wadi Rum, twenty artists came together to be part of the unique residency @remal.lab and to pause, reflect, and reconnect—with their practice, with each other, and with the land itself. Removed from the noise of daily life, the desert became more than a backdrop; it became a collaborator.

“Culture is a creative refuge” captures this journey—originally published in Metropolis M (@metropolism_mag) by Jinxiao Zhou, this impact story is a reminder that sometimes the most powerful creative breakthroughs happen not in studios or cities but under open skies, around shared meals, and in moments of collective stillness.
