With the new Songs of Summer 2026 heating up, I realized I couldn’t wait any longer to finally share this absolute core memory from last year! 🗽 I teamed up with my brilliant teammate @maxwellpepper on this campaign, he designed the incredible ViZ ID, and I had the absolute blast of bringing it to life through animation. Messing around with this loop in AE brought back a wave of nostalgia. It reminded me of being 21, working in Milan making concert visuals for artists. That’s where I first discovered the absolute magic of things like fractal noise and seamless loops. Years later, the software has changed (just a bit 😂), but the joy of just experimenting and seeing “what happens if I tweak this?” is exactly the same. Still processing this one. 🏆 We officially won a SABRE Award for Superior Achievement in Brand Building for the global Afrobeats campaign! Last summer, I had the absolute honor of leading the visual identity as the Lead Graphic & Motion Designer. Bringing a massive cultural and musical movement like Afrobeats to life visually was a dream project, and seeing it recognized like this is surreal. Here’s the logo animation I cooked up to set the tone, but swipe through to see the behind-the-scenes evolution of the identity! 🔥 #Afrobeats #MotionDesign #SabreAwards #BrandIdentity #GraphicDesign The Core Concept: My goal was to capture how modern Afrobeats has evolved over the last 5 years into a slower, more soulful, melody-driven sound, while ensuring it stayed firmly grounded in its vibrant West African rhythmic roots. #CreativeDirection #VisualIdentity #MusicCulture Precision meets culture. As the lead designer, I engineered the logo design and grid alignment to feel human, vibrant, cool, and organic, anchoring the campaign’s bold tone of voice. #Typography #LogoDesign #GraphicDesign #DesignSystem To visually translate the sonic shift of the music, I developed a custom brand asset package featuring rich, expressive color tones and fluid, rhythmic patterns. #VectorArt #PatternDesign #BrandAssets #fractalnoise Where it all begins.
