Studio Perspective is 5.

Five years. Hundreds of ideas. Lots of places, brands, campaigns, conversations, shoots, workshops, launches and great people along the way.

We’ve seen our work come to life on buildings, across cities, in new neighbourhoods, on screens, through campaigns and within the businesses of our clients.

Some projects have won awards. Some have changed businesses. Some have changed us.

While Studio Perspective looks quite different today than it did five years ago, we’re still driven by the same thing. Great thinking. Great creative. Work that makes a difference.

To every client who has trusted us, every person who has worked with us, every collaborator who has brought their talent to the table and everyone who has recommended our studio along the way, thank you.

We’re very proud of the first five. Very excited about what comes next.

Last Sunday was a special one.

As part of #OpenHouseMelbourne, we welcomed visitors into Local: Box Hill for a look around, some great conversations and a chance to see what Build-to-Rent looks like up close.

The sessions kicked off with a panel discussion featuring Loren Thankyakittikul (Head of Design, Local), Bec McHenry (Placemaking Partner, (@studio__perspective) and Nicky Drobis (Partner and Head of Design, @fenderkatsalidis). The conversation explored what the art of living looks like when housing, culture and services are planned together, and how thoughtful design can help people feel at home.

Visitors then joined guided tours through the building, taking in commissioned artwork, shared spaces and apartments along the way. From the Mahjong room and cinema to co-working spaces, rooftop, green space and shared dining rooms, it was a chance to see how those ideas come to life.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by, asked questions and spent part of their weekend with us. A special shout out to local artist @emma.x.zhang for joining the tours and sharing the stories behind her work. And to Yang Yang Grocer and Panda Hotpot, opening soon at SKY SQR, for the goodie bags.

Our award-winning show garden, We the Wild has found a permanent home on the Docklands Waterfront 🦋

Originally designed for the 2026 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, the garden has now been reimagined for Yanunong Quay, bringing biodiversity, native planting and nature-led design into the heart of the city.

Delivered in collaboration with Development Victoria, @kuranganativenursery, @provenwinnersaustralia, @togooduse and @studio__perspective, the project demonstrates how thoughtful landscape design can create greener, more connected urban spaces.

2025 was a big year for Studio Perspective, defined by strong partnerships, incredible projects and the trust our clients place in us to help shape meaningful places and brands. Our work was recognised with a raft of national and international awards, a reflection of the quality of the projects and the team behind them.

Building on that momentum, we launched Marketing Perspective and have gone from strength to strength. This year the group has had it’s biggest year to date, welcomed incredible new clients across Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and beyond, retained 100% of our team, and continued to deliver thoughtful, considered work with partners who share our values.

We closed out the year together, celebrating the growth, the collaboration and the team behind it all.

To capture the essence of Henny, we worked closely with @_sirap_ to showcase the quality of the projects and the level of craftsmanship delivered. Filmed across different locations at different stages of the build process, the primary film will integrate into the new Henny website and as reels for social media.
