Introducing Reverie III. Our third collection continues a practice of gathering. Of travelling with open eyes. Of noticing the small things that ask to be held. This time, we found ourselves drawn to glass, agate, jade, and ceramic. Each material carries its own history of making. Each bead arrives with slight differences in colour, weight and surface. Reverie has always been about making objects that accompany a life rather than decorate one. Pieces to be worn often, to gather memory, and to change with time. Reverie III is now available through @longseasonofficial. Link in bio by @studio__syx

Introducing Reverie II. These pieces began as a ritual; a way to honour the passing of a beloved friend who loved beautiful things. Grief moved us toward each other. We began making friendship necklaces, one for S, one for Y, one for X. A gesture of staying close. A way of keeping time together. From there, the circle widened. Our first collection was gathered by friends. Thank you again, divas; for carrying the ritual forward. For Reverie II, we travelled for love to Kenya, searching for beads that could hold the day-like state we return to when we say reverie. Ceramic beads sourced from Kazuri came into our hands and into this becoming. Agate, ceramic, glass.Held by metal clasps. Agate for protection, for grounding.
Ceramic and glass for refinement, for moulding, for the quiet alchemy of being shaped and reshaped by memory. by @studio__syx
