On a picturesque spring day in a small Northern California town the local community convened under a clear blue sky and a westerly wind. The people gathered in a positive and safe way to support @giffords_org dedicated mission to end the gun lobby’s stranglehold on our political climate. Not all protests are created equal. Our studio designed a visual system of hand drawn, color vibratory and charismatic characters void of political fetishism. The message was clear, we the people, are in charge of celebrations. We aren’t here to pick sides, we are here as a small, yet mighty community to co-create safe environments. Thank you to the many thankless volunteers and organizers who made this day possible, thanks to the hyper-local creative makers who shared their wares. Our latest @churchcalifornia product, Sea Salt Texturizing Spray. For that, “the Pacific Ocean is my hair stylist” look. Voluminous and layered. It’s always nice to stumble across your work in the wild. No clue who had these cushions made with our fabric but it makes me smile! I loved designing this fabric so much.
