❤️So honored to be featured by @essence and able to share my story @studio_dem!!! So beautifully written by @robynmowatt !! Thank youuu🥰 Also check out my mummyyy! Wow😍 Essence was the first ever American magazine I shot for when I started modeling. I was terrified but excited!. It was just one photo, maybe il share one day🙊. Aywayyyy Scream!

SCREAMS! What a dream to be featured in Vogue!! My mom is messaging me asking if she can print this from the computer😭. And I hope she does, really...
I’ve been modeling for 10 years, and I feel so lucky to be able to still do that AND be able to work on Dem. I hope through Dem, both as a physical space and as an idea, that I can tell my story and bring all of you into this world I am only starting to create.
5 year old me in Trinidad was making clothes for Barbie dolls... I would have never thought I’d have a store in NYC. Thank you to everyone that’s been to the store and supported me ❤️ Link in bio ✨✨ by @studio_dem

After four beautiful years, Studio Dem is entering a new chapter.❤️

This is a chance to focus more intentionally on what has always been at the heart of this space: community, connection, creativity, and culture.

We’ve been so lucky to build something special together, and we’re deeply grateful for every person who has walked through our doors, attended an event, shopped a collection, shared a meal, or simply spent time with usss🥹🥰🥰🥰

While we’ll be stepping away from daily retail, Studio Dem isn’t going anywhere. We’ll continue selling online, hosting gatherings, creating experiences, and finding new ways to bring people together.

And for those looking for a space to bring their own ideas to life, Studio Dem is now available to rent for pop-ups, events, workshops, activations, and creative projects on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis🤗✨

We’re excited for everything this next chapter will make possible.
