Livid Stavanger, 2022

We had the pleasure of revisiting our project for Livid, formerly PAST, with Johan Dehlin in Stavanger’s historic city centre.

A prefabricated system of aluminium plates and profiles forms a new interior layer, both free from and in dialogue with the existing space. The pieces are assembled using interlocking joints and visible screws and bolts, without welding.

Temporary Water Fountain, 2024

Stuff, discarded or usually hidden, assembled as a water fountain. The ultimate symbol of wealth, luxury and well-being. To be disassembled.

Designed and built by Studio Et al. in the occasion of Copenhagen Fashion Week/CIFF for Norwegian clothing brand Livid ( @livid_______ ). The installation was later rebuilt during Oslo Artweek and Oslo Runway.

Giskehagen 9, 2025

One door, two doorways. Inspired by the custom door in Marcel Duchamp’s studio in 11 Rue Larrey.

The attic was an underutilized open space for a growing family. The project is about creating room for two small bathrooms, inserted as custom-built furniture/objects in the open space. When the doors are closed, the attic can be experienced in its entirety. The bathrooms subtly divide the rooms into two zones for sleeping and living. Central to the project was the development, in close collaboration with Meling, of a single door leaf engineered to close against two frames – a functional gesture that nods to Duchamp’s spatial economy.

To make the most of the limited footprint, we also designed several bespoke stainless steel elements, including a triangular corner sink, integrated light fixtures, and small furniture pieces.
