Old soul, new chapter. 🤎

We gave this 1860’s villa a fresh mid-century twist with Swedish stone, dark stained oak, sculptural pieces and just the right amount of patina.

Happy to finally share it with you.

New project of mine, a small goodie with a grande finale. Set in a 1905 home in Bern, Switzerland this bathroom revival is designed with a subtle touch of Art Deco, where history and present meet.

Grateful for the incredible craftsmanship by @gomet_granit, who brought my vision to life with Sinai Pearl limestone.

While the main building is set to wait for our #lakeview project the accompanying sauna is now underway. Set on the serene shores of Sweden’s largest lake – Vänern – with breathtaking views in every direction.

I designed it as a multifunctional boathouse – with storage, room for intimate family gatherings or summer dock parties. Folding glass doors open up to nature, and at its heart, a cozy wood-fired sauna with access to the water for a refreshing dip.

A simple, honest structure inspired by traditional Scandinavian fishing huts, blending seamlessly into the landscape.

This image is a 3D rendering that captures the vision before construction begins.
Stay tuned as this peaceful lakeside retreat takes shape.

Wrapping up the year, I reflect on the amazing journey it’s been. Here are some of the highlights:

🎨 Designing a collection of handmade tiles that have not only found homes across Sweden but also throughout Scandinavia—and even across the Atlantic! The love and appreciation these tiles have received fills me with so much joy.

🏛️ Creating a one-of-a-kind bathroom for a historical building in Bern, Switzerland. Combining history and design is always a challenge I adore.

🏡 Drawing my very first entire house from scratch! Seeing it come to life in the year ahead with our client is going to be beyond rewarding.

🏗️ Beginning a complete renovation project in beautiful Torekov. There’s so much more to come from this exciting transformation, and I can’t wait to share the journey.

🏠 Completing the interior for the spectacular Öland House! A project that truly let creativity and craftsmanship shine—it’s been an honor to bring it to life.

A big thanks to all our fantastic clients who trust us with their visions and dreams. It is what inspires me every single day. I’m deeply thankful for the lessons learned and the opportunity to grow. But most of all I’m endlessly grateful to my talented and supportive team @ostersjosten —none of this would have been without you. 🙏

Here’s to starting the new year fresh, inspired, and ready to tackle more exciting projects 🎉

Wishing you all a Happy New Year filled with love, creativity, and joy. 💕
