TextielLab - Visitor Information System

At TextielLab, artists and designers collaborate with specialists to create contemporary textile works, often pushing the limits of techniques and machinery. As part of the @textielmuseum , the Lab is also open to the public.
The challenge was to guide visitors through the Lab, explaining the programme, machines, and techniques while respecting the working environment.

“Many loving arms” The catalog of my Current retrospective exhibition is out. I am so delighted with the end result. The catalog is beautifully designed by @studio_kader and published d by @waanders_uitgevers I am grateful that @rijksmuseum_twenthe was enthusiastic about making a book together, I am in love! This catalogue highlights, all the most important themes of my work and the overview of my art from the last 10 years, ranging from 2016 to 2026 the introduction text has has been written by @edodijksterhuis and the book features many pictures, mostly made by @marcdeurloo Many thanks to @fonds21 en #jaaphartenfonds for your kind support. During Dutch Design Week 2024, we had the pleasure of designing Designing Society, an exhibition uniting four initiatives under one roof: World Design Embassies, Maakruimte voor Mooi NL, De Publieke Ontwerppraktijk, and What if Lab.

Our concept brought together these diverse initiatives into one cohesive identity, symbolizing collaboration and unity. We worked closely with Hofmeijer Dekker Ontwerpers on the spatial design, creating a clear layout that ensured every project had its space to shine.

The project embraced sustainability with rented and reusable materials and prioritized accessibility through tactile maps, wheelchair-friendly design, and thoughtful details.

We’re proud of this collaboration and the opportunity to shape a meaningful space for reflection and inspiration. Thanks to all our partners and visitors for making this possible! 💛

We are pleased to share our contribution to MBOin2030, a traveling exhibition for which we developed the conceptual framework, spatial design, and graphic identity.

The exhibition envisions vocational education in 2030, focusing on flexible and personalized learning paths that align with the evolving needs of students of all ages and the labor market. Visitors are invited to explore innovative educational models that empower both students and educators.

MBOin2030 will travel to various locations this year and next, fostering dialogue about the future of education and its role in societal transformation.

The exhibition “Land Art op Schaal” was managed and produced by Studio Kader for Land Art Flevoland, and the spatial design was created by Babke Dekker. The exhibition features ten iconic land art works at a 1:200 scale.
