One chapter closes, another begins.

After many wonderful years in New York City, Alida and I have officially made the move to South Norwalk, Connecticut.

This move marks the start of an exciting new chapter for us—personally and professionally. One of the highlights has been getting our first look at what we hope will become the new home of Studio Origin.

Right now, it’s just an empty space, still taking shape. But every journey starts somewhere, and it’s exciting to imagine the music, collaborations, and new projects that will one day fill these rooms.

We’re looking forward to sharing the story as Studio Origin comes to life. Stay tuned… taken in South Norwalk by @studio_origin_aai

After many productive and rewarding years in my current studio, I’ll be transitioning into a new workspace later this summer — which means my studio room will become available for sublease/takeover.

It has been the perfect space for composing, arranging, editing, mixing, and production work, with a supportive landlord and a building that is very accommodating to music professionals and creative work.

The studio features abundant natural light, a prime Soho location, a main working room plus a separate vocal booth, and includes an Argosy workstation desk along with some equipment.

I’d love to see the space continue on with another composer, producer, editor, or creative artist who could make good use of it.

If you or someone you know may be interested, feel free to reach out privately for details. Long-term tenant preferred, but lease term is flexible. taken in Soho, N.Y.C by @studio_origin_aai

Surrounded by echoes of what’s come before, it’s easy for new work to lose its own sound.

But originality still matters.

At Arrival Arts Initiative and Studio Origin, we’re creating space for music-driven storytellers to rediscover what’s unique in their sound — beyond formulas, beyond imitation.

This is the work we live for: helping creators make something that couldn’t have come from anyone else.
