COFFEE MORNINGS – Tisdag & Torsdag
Starta morgonen på bästa sätt! Vi har öppet kl. 07:30 – 10:00. Kom förbi för kaffe, någonting att äta och härlig stämning.

BABYCCINO LÖRDAG! Kl. 09:30 – 12:00
På lördag är det dags för det andra Babyccino Caféet för byns allra minsta stjärnor! Vi flyttar undan möblerna och låter roliga leksaker och teckningar ta över golvet.

Varmt välkomna in!

We've had a great couple of first days opening Tjoho! One coffee morning and one babyccino session done and we've been delighted by the response.

We're open every Tuesday and Thursday from 7.30-10 this month, and every Saturday from 9.30-12. Every other saturday is kids focused with babyccinos and play.

We're trialling the whole of October with different ideas, but this place is for the village. So, please tell us when you want us to be open? What do you want to eat and drink? So far... no cups of tea sold. Maybe Dals Långed only wants coffee?

This October, we are trialling opening times and possibilities of TJOHO! On Tuesday and Thursday mornings, we will open before work and school and continue into morning fika time.

Something sweet and a nice start to your day.

Please note: Our coffee machines are still broken so it's drip coffee for now. It's good though, we promise. ☕️ by @studio_vaxt

We want to thank everyone for Byafest on Saturday. Tjoho! officially opened and we served 200 people coffee and hotdogs. We're so proud to be a part of this wonderful village where people younger and older and from many different backgrounds meet with warmth and respect. Tjoho! is for everyone, and we hope that anyone feels they could come and have a coffee with their friend, read a book in the corner, do drawings with their kids, or even run their own event.

Byafest was originally set up by Studio Växt 4 years ago, and the village seems to want it every year which is fanstastic. It's now delivered by a seperate dedicated Byafest team who do an amazing job. We're very grateful for their energy to keep it going.

Tjoho is currently run entirely voluntarily, and we've already had many people donate knowledge and time to help get us started. If you'd like to be a part of us just get in touch. 🙂

It was hard work on Saturday but we can't wait to do it again! Our next opening is a 'Coffee Morning and After Lunch' on 23rd September. We will be open from 7.30-9.30 and then 12.30-2.

Because lets be honest, aren't those the best two coffees of the day?

There will be simple food and tea also! We can't wait to welcome you back. by @studio_vaxt

EXTRAVAGANT HOTDOG GRILLING!

Tomorrow 12th September, during Byafest, we're moving our large grill in front of the building and offering a range of meat and vegetarian sausages from 12-2pm. We will be serving them with homemade caramelised onions, a choice of Breads and delicious sauces.

We take exact cash or swish.

Vi har flera aktiviteter på gång på Tjoho under den årliga byafesten i Dals Långed imorgon 12:e September. En av dem är LYXIG KORVGRILLNING!

Vi flyttar fram vår stora grill framför byggnaden och erbjuder ett urval av köttsvarv och vegetariska korvar klockan 12–14. Vi serverar dem med hemlagad karamelliserad lök, valfritt bröd och härliga såser.

Swish eller kontant är king!

We have a total of four events happening at Tjoho during the annual village party this Saturday, September 12th! Two of them are an exhibition and a workshop...

Between 11 AM - 3 PM we have an exhibition opening of photographer Naomi Pongolini's landscape pictures from different corners of the world.

From 12 - 4 PM there will be a portrait-making workshop with Naomi and Biba SJ. Come and make your own self-portrait in Pop Art style! With colour, stickers, and imagination, we can make something together. The perfect event for those who love to craft and create. All ages are welcome.

Vi har totalt fyra evenemang som äger rum på Tjoho under den årliga byafesten nu på lördag den 12 september! Två av dem är en utställning och en workshop...

Mellan kl. 11 och 15 är det vernissage för fotografen Naomi Pongolinis landskapsbilder från världens olika hörn.

Från kl. 12 till 16 hålls en workshop i porträttskapande med Naomi och Biba SJ. Kom och gör ditt alldeles egna självporträtt i Pop Art-stil! Med färg, klistermärken och fantasi skapar vi något tillsammans. Det perfekta tillfället för den som älskar att pyssla och skapa. Alla åldrar är välkomna.

BYAFEST 2026! This Saturday 12th September.

One of our members, Funny Livdotter is running a live Portrait Kiosk alongside two other artists, Joey Bates and Sofia Petrén.

Between kl.11-17 for 50kr you receive a portrait drawn live! Find them at the festival square, Enetsvägen 11. Swish or cash accepted.

We are Tjoho! A new food and events space in Dals Långed, West Sweden.

We are a room for the local community to share meals, a cup of coffee and conversations. We will hold craft workshops, play sessions and lectures.

We want people to join in, and see our space as a place to make your idea for a concert or book club a reality. Whatever it is, we're interested and our doors open on the 12th September 2026.

Set up by members of our sister organisation Studio Växt.

Vi är Tjoho! En ny plats för mat och evenemang i Dals Långed, Västsverige.

Vi är en mötesplats för lokalsamhället där man kan dela en måltid, en kopp kaffe och goda samtal. Hos oss kommer det att hållas hantverksworkshoppar, lekstunder och föreläsningar.

Vi vill att folk ska vara med och engagera sig, och se vår lokal som en plats där idéer om allt från konserter till bokcirklar kan bli verklighet. Vad det än gäller är vi nyfikna, och vi öppnar dörrarna den 12 september 2026.

Are you looking for a place to work? A desk, colleagues, and space to be professional? We are having two desks available to rent - daily, weekly or monthly (priority for permanent spot) as you like!

There is good WiFi, open office floor plan, good printer (maximum A3), including coffee/tea and nice vibes. There is also space to hide for a secrete business meeting, prototype workshop, sewing textile space, photo backdrop and more.

We who works here are artists, designers and craft people/businesses but also pluming engineer, architect, photographer, and software engineers. A hotpot of skilled, creative and professional people that likes to work from here! Are you our new colleague?

...And just like that our exhibition 'Housewarming' is finished. We are over the moon with the workshops and guests and everything that happened in this little room over the last few days. Thank you.

Now, we need to meet, regroup, and work out how this space becomes a permanent part of the community. We already had many requests for coffee mornings from 6am, but also a space for Turkish wool spinning and electronics mending workshops. That all sounds fantastic, so we'll see how we go about it.

FREE CLOTHES MENDING AND FIKA!

Never threaded a needle before? Nervous about knots? Even better! Studio Växt member and skiled artisan Anna Robinson @sharptoolsfullheart is excited to teach you mending skills that last a lifetime. She will show you her four favourite mending stitches across a long fika.

Everything is free of charge, including materials, bullar and coffee. 😊

Today's the day!

At 5pm our exhibition 'Housewarming' opens and it's a double celebration. The first time we open our lovely new space Tjoho! As a group we work across craft, art and design, so you'll see some artwork, but also some bespoke furniture in the space.
