Almost four decades since its original release, the 𝘑𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘢𝘯 𝟣 𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩 𝘉𝘶𝘳𝘨𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘺 returns to celebrate the iconic ‘85 Metallic Pack.

Made to replicate how an OG pair would look today, this custom features aged leather upper and midsole, reshaped toe box and subtle glue stains.

The metallic parts have been lightly coated with a glossy finisher and intentionally cracked to replicate the natural aging process of vintage pairs.

Foxtrot Uniform Oxblood Fade-Away laces help to complete the aged concept, while both the box and hangtag have been carefully distressed to reflect the passage of 40 years.

This custom pays homage to the OG '85, featuring cracked leather, visible glue stains, and aged laces, upper, and midsole, perfectly capturing the vintage aesthetic. The toe box is reshaped to match the original design. Each pair comes with a custom bag, aged box, and distressed Air Jordan hang tag, completing the retro look."

Introduced in 1984 and worn by MJ in his NBA debut, the Air Ship was re-released in 2020, first in the “Banned” colorway (@bottegabackdoor exclusive) and later in a redesigned version as part of the "New Beginnings" Pack.

This custom features aged upper and tongue, glue stains around the midsole, reshaped toebox and a dusty patina for a worn-out look.

To complete the aged aesthetic, I laced them up with Foxtrot Uniform Fade-Away Pine laces; the box and booklet have also been aged to match the concept.
