@chanel.beauty CHANEL’s Winter Getaway in Phuket ❄ At Central Phuket, @chanel.beauty brings its Holiday 2026 universe to life with a snow-covered chalet, frosted trees, sleighs and elegant white-and-gold details, all set beneath the tropical sun. Inspired by the alpine lifestyle and Gabrielle Chanel’s winters in St. Moritz, the campaign connects beauty, fragrance and retail through one cohesive seasonal story. From Margaret Qualley fronting the holiday makeup collection to the new Paris–St. Moritz fragrance and the N°5 Winter Case, each detail evokes a winter escape. From a retail designer’s point of view, the standout is the contrast between the snowy installation and its tropical setting. The materials, finishes and winter codes make the concept instantly recognisable while creating a surprising, immersive experience for visitors. A special thank you to the CHANEL teams for bringing this winter dream to life in Phuket. @demercey Gallery : @proud_olives @thisnnevvy @central_beautyclub @centraldepartmentstore #CHANEL #CHANELBeauty #Holiday2026 #RetailDesign #BrandActivation #VisualMerchandising #LuxuryRetail #CentralPhuket by @studiobranco.paris
Hermès reopens its Long Island boutique Hermès has reopened its boutique at @americanamanhasset, bringing the Maison’s world of craftsmanship to a new, light-filled space inspired by Long Island’s Gold Coast heritage. Designed by RDAI, the boutique brings together all 16 Hermès métiers in an elegant setting shaped by local references. From a retail designer’s point of view, the material palette helps tell the story of the space: ivory limestone and walnut cabinetry bring warmth and refinement, while cherrywood marquetry adds texture and craftsmanship. The central rotunda and skylight draw the eye through the boutique, creating a memorable sense of arrival. A special thank you to @rdai_ensemble, @denismontel for the design and a special thank you to @gregoirediehl for bring the Hermès retail experience to life. @gucci Gucci’s renewed flagship on Avenue Montaigne Gucci’s renewed flagship at 56 Avenue Montaigne, Paris, introduces a fresh retail concept on one of the city’s most iconic luxury streets. Drawing on Italian architectural heritage and a more intimate, residential atmosphere, the space brings together the Maison’s history and a contemporary vision of luxury retail. From a retail designer’s point of view, the material palette is what gives the space its character. The interplay of stone, rich textures and refined finishes creates a sense of depth, warmth and Italian heritage, while helping each area feel distinct. These material choices do more than decorate the store: they shape the atmosphere and make the brand experience tangible. A special thank you to @demna @piero.portaluppi @julesliscia for the creative vision and design references that make this project so inspiring. @ouispeakfashion @superfuture #gucci #gucciparis #avenuemontaigne #retaildesign #luxuryretail #archiretail #storeopening #luxurystore #retailstore Suggested by @studiobranco.paris
@clinique @cliniqueanz Clinique brought a refreshing pop of pink to Martin Place, Sydney, with the Feels Like Moisture Surge pop-up. Inspired by a hydrated glasshouse, the experience invited visitors to discover the Moisture Surge range, explore its key ingredients and enjoy a custom jelly treat inspired by the product. The activation also offered visitors a complimentary 15 ml Moisture Surge 100H Hydrator. A great example of how product education, playful details and a striking setting can turn skincare discovery into an engaging brand experience. A retail designer’s perspective: the glasshouse concept translates the feeling of hydration into a physical space, making the product story tangible, inviting and memorable. @dior For Christmas 2026, Dior transforms its Bamboo Pavilion in Daikanyama, Tokyo, with a monumental frozen Japanese pine tree installation, created in collaboration with floral artist @azumamakoto and his team. Set within the Pavilion’s Japanese-inspired garden, the installation brings together sculptural branches, snow and icicles, framed by the building’s illuminated golden façade. The contrast between the cool, delicate artwork and the warmth of the architecture creates a striking seasonal scene. A retail design perspective: what makes this installation compelling is its connection to place. Rather than relying on conventional festive decoration, the project draws on the Japanese pine and the Pavilion’s garden setting to create a seasonal story that feels rooted in its surroundings. The installation acts as a visual focal point, inviting visitors to pause, look closer and experience the space differently. It’s a strong example of how seasonal design can extend a brand experience beyond the store interior using art, architecture and landscape to create a moment people want to remember and share. A special thank you to Luca Albero for sharing his vision, not only for Dior, but for the power of retail design to create meaningful, memorable experiences. @jacquemus @simon_porte_jacquemus Jacquemus brings its distinctive universe to the Miami Design District with a new flagship that goes beyond the traditional store. Conceived by Simon Porte Jacquemus in collaboration with OMA, the space brings together fashion, architecture and art. Warm terracotta flooring, hand-finished stucco walls and a sculptural stone staircase create a tactile, sunlit atmosphere. Artworks, collectible furniture and orange trees give the store a residential, gallery-like feel. A retail designer’s perspective: the strength of this concept lies in its coherence. The material palette, natural light and sculptural elements work together to create a recognisable atmosphere rather than simply decorate the space. The gallery-like presentation gives the products room to stand out, while the architecture encourages visitors to explore. In luxury retail, this kind of design can make the store itself a memorable expression of the brand. @alexsalvadormir @barbara_hrc @oma.eu #jacquemus #retaildesign #retaildesigndetail #luxuryretail #archiretail #brandexperience by @studiobranco.paris
BOUTIQUE OPENING @ferragamo Ferragamo has reopened its Beverly Hills flagship with a new retail concept by architect @vincentvanduysen My retail design take: The store moves beyond the conventional luxury retail box, drawing on the warmth and intimacy of a contemporary Italian home. Textured stone, rich materials and carefully selected design pieces give the space a more residential feel while still expressing Ferragamo’s identity. The project also features custom pieces by @andreamancuso_studio Andrea Mancuso of Analogia Project. What do you think makes a luxury store feel welcoming rather than formal? @maisonalaia Shopping Cidade Jardim Designed by Stockholm-based Halleröd, the boutique brings together Alaïa’s distinctive design codes and Brazilian references. Dark timber, locally sourced black marble and porthole-inspired ceiling lights set the tone, while furniture by Philippe Malouin and Brazilian designer Sérgio Rodrigues adds character to the space. My retail design take: The store feels most compelling where global brand identity meets local context. The carefully selected materials and furniture give the boutique a strong sense of place, while the more intimate Shoe Library creates a quieter moment within the shopping journey. @ganni @lululemon @sansho DANCE CLUB They didn’t just launch a collection, they brought its inspiration to life. Club Dance, an ’80s-inspired nightclub, turned the collaboration’s connection between fashion, movement and self-expression into an experience people could join. By day, visitors could take choreography classes; by night, the space became a club with DJ sets. Hot-pink neon, leopard print and retro details created a visual world rooted in the collection’s playful, dance-inspired aesthetic. Why collaborations work in retail: A strong collaboration brings together two distinct brand worlds to create something neither could deliver alone. Here, GANNI’s expressive style meets lululemon’s movement-focused expertise, giving the collection a clear story—and the activation a wider appeal. Club Dance makes that partnership tangible by inviting people to experience it through fashion, dance and community. That’s what makes this activation more than a product launch: it gives people a reason to show up and take part. Source: ShopDropDaily. @jeanpaulgaultier LA FAVORITE Two pop-ups, one unmistakable JPG universe. At Lafayette Anticipations, visitors enter through a red-neon entrance, pass a Parisian-style Tabac-Presse kiosk filled with playful, collectible merchandise, then follow a sensory trail inspired by the fragrance’s notes with stops evoking a florist, a glove-maker and a chocolatier. The journey ends at an ’80s-inspired club. At Les Halles, the experience takes a different form: a Café La Favorite, Paris-inspired treats, photo spots and a scented bracelet guiding visitors through the discovery journey. My retail design take: I love how the concept turns fragrance notes into places, objects and interactions. The kiosk and café make the brand world feel familiar and playful, while the sensory trail gives visitors a reason to explore beyond the product display. #JeanPaulGaultier #LaFavorite #RetailDesign #RetailReview #ExperientialRetail #BrandExperience #ParisPopUp #FragranceExperience by @studiobranco.paris
@coach @giovannizac COACH PLAY Coach brings its Coach Play concept to Paris with a playful, experience-led space designed to connect with Gen Z. My retail design take: What stands out is how the concept balances the building’s historic character with a more expressive, contemporary identity. The neon details, custom fixtures and integrated speakers help create a space that feels less like a conventional store and more like a place to explore and spend time. The concept is associated with Giovanni Zaccariello, Coach’s SVP of Global Visual Experience. #coachplay #coach #retaildesign #brandevent #brandexperience #brandactivation #beautyretail by @studiobranco.paris
@apoticari_official Apoticari brings together a botanical apothecary, a herbal tea bar and a wellness-focused experience, rooted in the brand’s Auvergne origins. Retail design analysis: Inspired by traditional apothecaries, the 60 m² space uses copper and volcanic stone to give the concept a strong material identity. The immersive sound experience adds another sensory layer, making the visit about more than choosing a product, it invites customers to slow down and explore.
