• HOW TO RENT •

If you wanna rent the studio for one of your project, it’s very easy, you just have to follow a few steps ❤️

1) Send a DM describing a lil’ bit of your project - with the ideal date and hour for the photoshoot

2) Let me know the material you have at disposal and the one you’d need

3) We will both sign a renting contract to make sure both of us feel at ease so that the place and its equipment is respected & so you know exactly what you’ll be able to use

4) Enjoy your time creating and don’t hesitate to ask me any questions if you think I’d be able to help out!

The studio is around 20m2 - 3m height and 3m5 width with enough perspective to capture one person or a whole group of people.

@studiochimerae is a photostudio located in Brussels - available for rent for Queer•Feminist projects.

Created by @typic.aelix - the idea of this studio is to build a creative place where LGBTQIA+ artists and collectives can capture and archive their practices & works - whether it’s for their own art or for events, collectives and organisations they’re invested in.

As members of a community that faces many challenges on many levels and on a daily basis (socially•politically•medically•mentally and more), we’re also easy targets for economical issues and facing fewer chances to become precarious due to our identities and artistic work. That’s why I wanted to help provide a place where conditions would be more in sync with our realities.

For more information, don’t hesitate to DM me and ask about availabilities, prices or just to share about a project you’d be willing to document.

Every photoshoot pictures taken in @studiochimerae are meant to be featured on this page, but obviously only when the artists who created them gave their consent beforehand. It will represent a way to collect and archive the queer artistic life flourishing in Brussels and around, showing how creative and talented our community is 🌟.

Just me doing some goddess s*** again 🫧🩵

I am so thrilled to share this photoshoot and would like to shout-out the ones who participated, starting with @tomseydoux who accepted to spend so much time and energy to conceptualize this huge shell with me.
Then, I have to thank my daughter @angel.hyperteck who’s always here when I need her, for helping building the shell, moving it, moving it back, trying to put it upstairs, failing, making last minutes nails, assisting me etc etc 🫶
Big thanks also to @theagendabxl who let us transform the whole place for the stage design.
And last but not least, I’m so grateful for my collaboration with @typic.aelix. The result is beyond my expectations ✨

Everything started because I wanted to get out of a sea shell for @Furie. So we built one with @tomseydoux
Then, the show was done and we didn’t know what to do with this huge shell. So I asked @typic.aelix to collaborate on this shooting
