A theatrical, offbeat scene set inside an institutional interior: a woman wearing the French tricolour sash sits at the centre, surrounded by five men in retro sportswear, each caught in an almost choreographed pose. With telephones, a thermos, newspaper, cigarette and saturated colours, the image plays with the codes of power, performance and 1970s–80s aesthetics.
