Views, light and landscape 🌁🌞
This is the brick extension I designed at the back of a historic Broadway home in San Francisco. A light yellow-toned volume added to the original house 🌝

I wanted to open the house to more light, and to a stronger sense of the day and the sun moving through the spaces 🌞🌤️

So proud to share that our full architecture and interior transformation of this San Francisco home is featured in @archdigest ✨

From the very first visit this house felt special, nestled into one of San Francisco’s storied hillsides, with the Bay just beyond 🍀🌸

Endless thanks to the team who made it happen

To the @archdigest team @amyastley @samuelcochran and @michaelsshome — thank you for this dream-come-true feature🩵

@sutroarchitects our architect of record and @thetobonigroup our contractor — the best collaborators I could ask for. This house would not be what it is without you🩵

@yeddamorrison our stylist — working with you was a pleasure beyond my expectations. You saw exactly what this house needed🩵

@robertrieger our photographer — years ago I imagined this house through your lens. You made that dream real. Thank you 🩵 📸

Some years ago I began an amazing journey to The Faroe Islands, where my clients found their right and special place, a full architectural project.

Some places just stay with you.

The Faroe Islands is such a unique place and a special visit each time 🇫🇴

So grateful to be working here 🍀🪁

For TimeSpirit, created in close collaboration with the passion-driven team at The Macallan Estate, the ambition was never to add something new but to reveal what already felt inherent to the architecture by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.

The dining experience should feel as though it had always existed within the building.

By carefully articulating the vast interior through framed views, material presence and a sense of protection at the table, the space establishes intimacy while remaining deeply connected to the surrounding landscape.

There is something special about working inside a building that has already lived a full life.

At Langelinieskuret the raw Öland-stone, the vaults and the ocean were already there and from the very beginning the approach was about listening.

Together with @karberghus and @officeclub.dk we are proud to have shaped a space of warmth, intimacy and rhythm inside this historic building by the Danish architect Wilhelm Dahlerup.

The warmth of the stone became our anchor and the building allowed a darker brown palette that softens the light in summer and brings warmth in winter.
