My client's living dining area was a fab space but was lacking in personality and felt rather cold and grey. We worked on bringing the spaces together with colour and pattern to sit alongside her gorgeous open plan kitchen.

Interior design isn’t always about starting from scratch. A lovely new project currently in progress - a living room and a library.

My clients living room is a great space but the size actually left them not qyite knowing what to do - so we are working on creating zones within the space - incorporating existing pieces into the room.

Detailed design of this concept is underway so look forward to sharing more.

AI definitely a touch controversial! In my opinion its a great tool helping my clients visualise concepts and ideas. It's rarely spot on and the scale is never quite right but it definitely helps convey an idea.

I don't think AI will be replacing designers any time soon but it's without a doubt a brilliant tool!

The library space - again working with existing furniture, art and built in joinery, the scheme brings together all the elements to make a grown up space to retreat to. by @studiodeeinteriors

Tree of Life and House Prints V1 make the perfect pairing.

Designed with one another in mind, the two collections are created to mix, match and coordinate with ease.

By pairing two fabrics from the same colour palette in different scales, @studiodeeinteriors has brought this space together beautifully and created an inviting transition into the garden.

Narrowboat Project No. 2 is underway.

The first photo is from the completed refresh of Boat No. 1, followed by the concept boards for Boat No. 2.

Boat 2 will have its own identity while still feeling in keeping with the first. The colour palette and overall feel are connected, but with a few subtle changes to make it unique.

I've loved taking inspiration from the completed project and evolving it into something new that's tailored to the space and the client.

I can't wait to share the finished transformation in a few weeks.

Last week I visited a lovely client who I originally met in January and she opted for my Complete Room Blueprint with floorplan & shopping list

During our meeting we reviewed the space and it became apparent that actually the door from the hallway was rarely used..... so it made sense to block it up creating a much more useable space

Blocking up the unused door allowed us to add a corner sofa and make the most of the space in the room. The client also added a chimney breast and log burner.

As well as concept and floorplan I supplied a clickable shopping list of items making it easy to move the forward and create the scheme.

As well as The Complete Room Blueprint design package we made the curtains and cushions using fabrics from the Studio.

And next week I'll be heading back to hang the curtains.

My complete room blueprint means clients can take it at their own pace. Looking forward to see thus soace evolve as the furniture pieces arrive.

One of the biggest misconceptions I come across is that working with an interior designer is only for large budgets or full home renovations.

The reality is that every project is different. I work with each client on a case-by-case basis to create a service that suits their home, their needs and their budget.

And honestly helping clients achieve something they wouldn't have thought of or been brave enough to have done - is the absolute best feeling!
