Design of the 2018 @cnapfr annual report

The Centre national des arts plastiques (Cnap) is a public institution that works to energize the French art scene in the visual arts. In 2018, we had the honor to be asked by its Graphic Design department to produce its activity report.
-
The aim of this report was to highlight Cnap’s initiatives, highlight the work of artists and make datas accessible. To achieve this, we designed a document structured in two distinct sections, characterized by the placement of infographics in the document’s preamble and conclusion. Printed on colored paper, the data is represented by simple geometric shapes, combined with the use of dot rasters and solid color to highlight key information. Framed by these infographics, the pages dedicated to editorial and iconographic content alternate between white and black backgrounds, giving rhythm and clarity to the consultation of the document. In this way, the report offers a double reading of its content, providing an in-depth understanding of Cnap’s actions. taken in Montreuil, Ile-De-France, France by @studiofables

Visual identity and website for @atelierdaaa

Atelier Daaa is a Parisian interior design agency that has, since 2016, made a name for itself in the creation of high-end private apartments. In 2023, Atelier Daaa contacted us to redefine their visual identity and create their website.

Atelier Daaa expressed the wish that its logotype should be a strong, one-piece design. Playing with the formal repetition of the letters d and a, we deliberately opted to reduce readability to create a robust, one-piece symbol. Two distinct typefaces accompany it, helping to perfect the agency’s visual identity. The first reflects Atelier Daaa’s high-end quality and meticulous attention to detail. The second adds a note of sobriety, in keeping with the agency’s desire to design functional living spaces. All communication materials are set on a sand tint, the studio’s signature color. The website, for its part, offers a visual promenade, inviting visitors to stroll through a selection of apartments designed by the agency.

Webdesign and code for @paf_atelier

Driven by experimentation and research, Paf atelier imagines and produces scenography and architecture. Since its foundation in 2017, we have been supporting the studio in the creation and development of its communication assets.
-
In order to highlight the pictorial quality of Paf atelier’s creations, we developed a reduced graphic language, devoid of any superfluous elements. The logotype is rudimentary, almost primitive, highlighting the structure of the letter in its most elementary form. In contrast, we developed a series of symbols representing the workshop’s various formal concerns. Sometimes functional, sometimes decorative, these emblems exist as a “signature” on the various communication media, contrasting with the apparent aridity of the layouts.

The website offers access to all the studio’s creations, and is designed as a tool for transmitting and sharing resources.
